re Mike Warner; I know the name but wouldn't know him if I saw him down the Peacock.

What's his background?

Zero new information.

Basically a summary of what's already happened.

Because dave allen comes riding down sheff rd on a white horse with his superman pants ( on his head) to save the day, thus winning the support and thanks of spireites everywhere.... then the horse muck hits the fan

Well that's probably the best plan and only one that will keep the club going I'm afraid......

If he did that, and sorted out the yearly financial black hole (not just with player sales). He would be my hero. Change was needed, maybe this is a wake up call for us all.

Basically Dave Allen didn't get his own way so has closed rank and taken his bat and ball home.

The clubs haemorrhaging money and a daily basis, has any attempt been made to cut costs?

Turners still plodding along, there's 80k saving there, off you go old boy.

The only way out of admin is if Dave brings his bat and ball out to play next week or investment is found (doubtful)

We owe £50 k to HMRC so that could liquidate us.

The clubs unsustainable, will be relegated and virtually not much hope as far as I can see.

I'd urge people come to this meeting next Saturday if that's ok. We the fans deserve better, and if it means an AFC club in future I for one will make sure it happens and the town of Chesterfield can have a team proud to be part of the community.

So. Have I heared it correctly.
He asked the board to leave. The four that were against him leave but he still doesn't want to come back...Why? Surely he knows that if he doesn't comeback the club is screwed and it's 10p in the £ which is a BIG loss for his personal wealth? It just seems like a croc to me.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Mike was the only director (I think) who didn't resign from Brown's board in 2000/01, although a key witness to events and he certainly stepped up to the plate to save the club.

Mike now needs to bring people in to help him conduct a review of the business overnight and implement cost savings, I can think of two individuals and I hope MW has one of those lined up.

What did you expect really? DA is not ready to tell us what the end game is, when he is we will find out. AC will only tell us what DA wants us to know. Be patient in the not too distant future the truth will come out

It won't be 10p in the pound for him

If Carson is accurate in what he said, there is only one villain

Presumably he isn't a multi-millionaire.

We either need someone to buy DA out, or we need him to bale us out or we go under, simple as that really.

Perhaps AC could confirm what he means by, all the directors to remove their debentures?
