I hope Ashley and DA have a plan that doesn't include Turner. I know I bang on about him I'm accused of being juvenile and calling him silly names but this man is toxic to many town fans now. I don't even want him as Director of Football. I hope the plan going forward is to create confidence in those running the club. If this is the case I'm absolutely sure the people of Chesterfield will support the club. Turnipe has to go rite now sooner the better. It's suggested he isn't running the club Ashley Carson is and has been since Rafflegate and all the other cock ups. This means he's stealing a wage which clearly we can't afford. Town fans will stick together and support anything Allen wants to do as long as Turner is history. Get rid now tonite Ashley!

Ashley,

Please, for the avoidance of doubt, confirm if Chris Turner, is part of yours, David Allen and the clubs short term plans in getting out of the situation we face. I believe this question needs a response, so we are fully aware of the intention, therefore, being clear to all. I am hoping that the statement due at 8pm is more than what we already know including what the current Directors and Shareholders intentions are moving forward.

Thanks,

I like to think I can trust Ashley Carson as he comes across on here as a decent yet impulsive bloke.

But then I think he was the guy who signed Ched Evans and pm'ed me defending the signing saying he would be a legend .....

And signed the worst coach in football- Morgan......

Your constant bashing of Ched is embarrassing, you mention him at every opportunity, shall we start calling you Walton? Another one who has t state the same Bunkum constantly

There is a rumour, and let me say loud and clear it's no more than that, that Turner's exit was part of some sort of deal which saw the four directors fall upon their swords, so to speak.

I wonder if accusations of lies might be levelled if he doesn't now go...

Embarrasing? Really? Does Freelanders, Dim View, Spireite Nag et al's frequent mentioning of Turner embarrass you?
Get over it geezer.

I hate Evans and hate the thought of him at my Club (that's my opinion and a forum is for people's opinions like it or not).
I'm sure you have an opinion on things (well I hope you do luv)

Just one in a long line of massive errors made by the board.

Reading inbetween the lines, the four directors wanted turner gone, the others said no so the four resigned for the best interests for the club.

Am I close?

This reminds me of the 'Stockholm Syndrome' where someone is taken (CFC and Fans) and held to ransom. They are held captive for what seems to them in a black hole, an endless period, in a fear-induced state ( of Administration) deprived ofcontact or communication with their captors; A hopeless, frustrated isolation - no explanation offered by their abductors and the frightening situation of not actuallyknowing who the actual 'bad guys' are. When one of the captors starts to offer themsnippets of hope, scraps of news and treats them with kindness they fallgratefully before him and kiss his feet; all prior injustices, misdemeanoursand uncertainties vanish into thin air- they have been saved, they become subservient. The 'hostage-taking' master plan, began in my opinion, around the time of the play-offs and has gathered momentum until the final denouement at the aborted AGM...

I would love to believe that all will be well-the hostage released unharmed, untainted - but I'm afraid I just can't.

I'm so glad that someone feels as suspicious as I do. I cannot let a few random posts on here by AC allow me to stop asking questions about the running of the club over the last few years. Something isn't right about this. And I don't just mean the obvious.

And ched Evans could in Jan be the main money input so I don't see what the problem is with that appointment. They employed an innocent man and to this date one more court appearance he is still an innocent man.

I'm told Danny Wilson was the main catalyst for Evans' signing, to the point of visiting him in chokey to maintain their relationship.

Carson would've been, as always, Allen's representitive.

Innocence, on so many levels, is a concept measured only by context.

I'm surprised you're suckered in so easily fishini!

IF Carson is doing the best for us then it'll take me a lot more convincing than a juvenile 'look at me' post'.
He can start by answering why ALL those (sponsors, employees & board members) with CFC's best interests deep at their hearts have been gotten rid of/ quit in the last couple of years?
I'm not going to start a witch hunt against the bloke; not yet anyway, as I 100% need to know that he's DA's man (I'm only 99.9999% convinced), but he's got a hell of a lot to prove he's not 'one of them' and that he's on our side!

Add me to that list...the man who is, with others, responsible for the financial mismanagement and endless embarrassing episodes, is now telling us he loves cfc and has always had the best interests of the club at heart....telling us we need to stick together.

Forgive my cynicism, but I don't buy a word of it. He'll be telling us next that Turner wants to give back his 5%.
