Maybe it becomes slightly more difficult to leave the room when you've been gifted vast amount of shares from the chairman?

I wonder what the value is worth

I'm reluctant to put my trust in people who have kept CT in his position and who, despite telling us how appalled they were at 'Rafflegate' saw their scapegoat moved to a postion not too far away.
Never think the fans or the club are forefront in their minds.

Come on Bucko think about it.

Somebody is on the end of DA's strings, and it ain't DJ, CB, AG and PT. More likely someone who has been gifted some shares (for what reason we can't see as yet) and who, despite the Chairman (his mate) 'walking out', remains solidly in place.

By the way, those shares will be worth a bit more if the other directors' have had to take a big hit on their loans.

Did he buy the old shares at Saltergate plus a new share issue of £4 million?

Agreed. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

This reminds me of the 'Stockholm Syndrome' where someone is taken (CFC and Fans) and held to ransom. They are held captive for what seems to them in a black hole, an endless period, in a fear-induced state ( of Administration) deprived ofcontact or communication with their captors; A hopeless, frustrated isolation - no explanation offered by their abductors and the frightening situation of not actuallyknowing who the actual 'bad guys' are. When one of the captors starts to offer themsnippets of hope, scraps of news and treats them with kindness they fallgratefully before him and kiss his feet; all prior injustices, misdemeanoursand uncertainties vanish into thin air- they have been saved, they become subservient. The 'hostage-taking' master plan, began in my opinion, around the time of the play-offs and has gathered momentum until the final denouement at the aborted AGM...

I would love to believe that all will be well-the hostage released unharmed, untainted - but I'm afraid I just can't.

AC could quite easily of walked too but has decided to stay and look for a solution to this mess.
I think we should cut the guy some slack and see what direction we go in next.
Remember too it's all of our football club and we can do what we can do and that is rally round and give those who are trying to sort it out our full support.

1) Who brought AC to our club?

2) Who is responsible for the club's current position?

3) Who gifted AC his shares?

AC has made absolutely no secret of his reasons for being here, to be Allen's eyes and ears. He'll be here until that role is surplus to requirements.

As you know, some of us have been trying to predict the end game for some time now.

I strongly believe that a club rescued by the hoodwinkers & the bottlers (not my words) would have generated support from the fans, sponsors and the local business community. I'm not sure Carson et al will benefit from the same luxury, for reasons that are all too obvious.

Fully agree.

There's a toxicity to those running CFC only enhanced by this week's events.

Infact you and I both know that long term sponsors, folk who've tolerated things to this point, are now saying they'll pull out.

Allen has a stranglehold, that's the simple reality, however if he's to turn around the finances he needs to appoint a whole new team both on and off the pitch.

I'll say it again: all punters want is an enjoyable and value for money experience at the Proact.

Deliver that and the last couple of years will become history.

Like your analogy squire and reckon you aren't too far off the mark.

An intelligent bloke, whom I hope won't mind me plagiarising his analogy, recently suggested Allen's threat to put CFC into admin was like the Sheriff holding a gun to his own head on 'Blazing Saddles'.

what circumstances do you think would have caused Carson to walk?

If he had, DA would have had nobody on the Board. There was no chance.

I like to think I can trust Ashley Carson as he comes across on here as a decent yet impulsive bloke.

But then I think he was the guy who signed Ched Evans and pm'ed me defending the signing saying he would be a legend .....

And signed the worst coach in football- Morgan......

Let's wait and see, no point in making a statement etc. Of information we've already had. Maybe naive, but I'm going for a little more than what we know already.
