I'm all for 'communication' but am not at all sure that this is the sort of thing we need.

Ashley; if your intentions are honourable then your actions will speak louder than any words.

Agreed. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Whatever people think or don't think about Ashley the fact is he's still there and doing what he can and for that alone he has my respect and thanks. Let's at least give him a fair chance

Ashley is certainly mistaken if he thinks we are going to criticise the gang of four without knowing what's gone off,

We need and deserve an honest explanation from both sides asap

Especially when Dave Jones and Chris Breeze have loans outstanding, to them personally and their business, of over £1.125M.
A Carson? £80,000.

Ok, I need to break silence.
Like it or not I am still a director of your club. I offered to resign earlier this week in a board meeting and I was asked by all directors to stay. I agreed. Now I know why.!!

I never expected 4 loyal fans to basically hood wink me and today bail out.

You can call me a Wednesday Banker, De Dah or anything else, but I intend to be honest with you all and keep you posted.

I am in effect now running the club, certainly not my choice, Vice Chairman I would have thought should have led the way, but has proved he has no bottle.

It has been a long day, I will cover everything over the weekend.

I am thinking, issue a statement and then sitting on here and answering questions,

But this is serious stuff, the first sarcastic, urine take, disrespectful question or answer and I will log off.

Is that fair ??

I promise you, I do love this club, I am the conduit to everything at this moment in time, thanks also to Mike Warner and John Croot

By the way I Could also follow the famous 4 who have bailed, but I have not done it...

Another night of not sleeping.

Respect for staying - all the best.
The fans will help more than you can imagine.

(But please get rid of Evans......)

yep, cmon folks lets give the bloke a chance, we complain at the silence, he's prepared to give us a statement, lets let him do that at least and then enter a reasoned debate based upon what he presents.

I'd just like to say please give Ashley a chance, he desperately wants to keep the fans informed. I have been in contact with him the last few days and he has been looking at the best way to communicate with fans.

I have to admit I'm not sure how it's gonna go on here, all I'll say is ask your questions whatever they are (I've got some myself), but do not let it descend into childish name calling.

Just to confirm .......Mike Warner has not resigned and he is in full support of the proposal.

I'm all for giving him a chance but I don't think he should be using terms like "the gang of four"

That's fine, and I appreciate the attempt to open communication but this is a two way street. Airing grievances at boardroom level on a public fans forum is not fair, is naive and will not end well.

If a ship is going down, and there are life boats connected to the ship, most will jump and get to safety as quick as possible. Fair play to AC for sticking around and trying to sort this out. He's probably frustrated and disappointed that the others have decided to jump to safety and not stuck with him to try and save the ship. The comments about the famous four could have been much worse I bet.

It's all about finding out the exact facts now and where we/club go from here.

Ashley - All I'd suggest when commenting on here etc. Is always conduct yourself in the correct manner, stay professional and don't lower yourself to any childish comments etc. Sometimes it's best to not respond to some comments. It's something we are all passonaite about and it needs sorting.

At 3am I sent a long email to Mike Warner and John. Root, me fellow directors for their input.

We are a board of 3 and this will need to be a joint agreed plan going forward.

Sorry, I did not expect the 4 to all resign and I do feel bitter towards them, I will compile something today, also try to speak to our lawyers.

There will only be myself and CT going to Fleetwood

Just for missed calls from the CEO of the EFL, so need to call him

Honesty, openeness, transparency and respect. Thanks Ashley. Just a shame that it should taken the brown stuff to hit the air conditioning unit for this to happen.

appreciate the post ashley but it is not very professional , personal attacks are not helpful and just wind posters up who are angry that chris turner still has a job at the club

Firstly to Ashley, fair play for posting.
However I reserve any judgement or taking sides until I have heard all sides to this story.

None of us are aware of what is happening in the board room but it's obvious there is disharmony.

As always it's potentially the fans of the club that will ultimately suffer while the money men squabble

I am happy along with some other fans to act as an independent mediator

The main thing is to ensure there is a positive end result for fans to have a club to support.

But one serious issue to address Ashley. CT is paid as a CEO, you are not paid, what is CT doing to help address this mess?
Have passport will travel

Thank you for all your efforts Ashley, believe it or not it is appreciated.

You will need to be tolerant with some people because a few deal with crisis in different ways.

Can I humbly ask if you could take over as CEO please and make CT director of football.

Who the F do you think has been running the club on a day to day basis?

It's about time some of you lot woke up.
