Reading between various lines, I wonder if this is DA consolidating rather than abdicating his position at CFC.

The last few remaining CFC directors out, possibly - and I know nothing, here - some appointments of his own to join Carson to replace them.

In the short term that may, just perhaps, offer stability.

But in the longer term these will probably be people who see CFC as nothing more than an opportunity.

I would rather see Turner gone IMO he is more of the problem than the solution, unless of course he's done exactly what DA instructed him to. Which has brought us to this end game whatever the end game is. However for me at this moment in time the Club could do a deal with the devil himself if it meant our wonderful club survives.

An opportunity for what? Anybody putting money in is unlikely ever to see a return. Even Dave Allen realises that now surely.

How does the resignation of, apparently, ineffective and inconsequential Directors consolidate DA's position by his appointment of inconsequential Directors of his own choosing? He has total power any way you choose.

As far as I'm concerned, four decent guys and genuine supporters of the club.

Interesting days....

Interesting. So who do we have left... The enemy within??

If we can believe postings on social media, then Mike Warner resigned this morning, so that just leaves Ashley Carson & John Croot.

This is all getting a bit complicated. Has DA shafted the directors who have resigned? have they lost anything?

Whatever is to play out now isn't to the benefit of CFC in my opinion. All this I didn't want DA to go bu!!****. I'm sorry but imo he's the architect behind all of this and still is and has been planning this for a couple of years now! (imo). He knows exactly what he's doing. Very worrying times!
In simple terms.. Whenever you see a murder on the news/ child abduction etc, etc, etc; then nine times out of ten it's always someone connected with the victim when the truth comes out. I'm not saying that this is the case, but that's my beliefs in what's happening (disclaimer)

If that was the case why wouldn't it be on the club's website ? It talks about three remaining directors.

I hope to god not, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit. All will become apparent in time.

To do what?? Not sure I'm with you on this one. Dave Allen comes back with two or three more new faces - that's fine by me. None of the Sheffield mafia stuff. It's love it or leave it.

I said before. A guy at work is a Wednesday fan. I chatted about our current goings on. He said regardless what happens Allen won't lose his money.

I don't want to demonise DA. He isn't Darren Brown, or anything close to it. He's just a rich bloke who bought into the idea without taking proper precautions or checks, from the off. He's made mistakes and ill advised appointments and the only thing that has saved face so far is his wallet but he's had enough and wants out. I can't blame him for that. But he also ought to acknowledge his mistakes to his customers, the Fan base because fans are loyal, they are forgiving, but they can also be a cruel and unforgiving mistress as well.

MK Dons. Struggling with us in L1, while the fans club has risen like the proverbial Phoenix and sit proudly above their userpers with a new ground in the offing. Meanwhile, the MK project of a huge new town with the potential of tens of thousands of new fans flounders having cost many millions more then the projected losses used to justify the move. It shows loyalty can't be bought, and adds the value of passion.

Clearly MKD is the ultimate extreme, but it shows that if you screw fans over they will turn away, and if need be start again with nothing.

We don't want that. In reality I doubt anyone really wanted DA to leave. Fans just wanted him to run the club properly, take those who were not up to it out of the picture, and enjoy the football.

I'm minded of his quote from the AGM and his reason for taking over. " I was asked to put in 600k or the club couldn't continue" Weill Dave, since you took over and replaced Barry with turner, £600k has been small fry hasn't it. Who's fault is that?

Sorry if I rambled. Pear cider.
