So, with DA walking away, the Boardroom in disarray and faced with immediate cash-flow problems your bright solution is that whatever cash we have in the Bank is blown on terminating CT's contract?

he he he!
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

Forget Turner, forget the titles, Carson has been our CEO for a long time.

The big question still remains, why has the majority shareholder supported such a shambolic disaster?

There must be a 'bigger picture' DA is looking at, maybe one of those Magic Eye type pictures, that's just hadn't become clear to the rest of us yet.

Question for you, is there a minimum number of directors a business must operate with?

Without checking, it was two, I think it's now one.

by 'short term pain' you mean paying CT off and then not paying staff or players wages for 2 months??

how do you think that would go down?

Depends how comfortable you are with the projected £1.5m loss we are set to make? Which ultimately will probably end with the same failure to pay wages and bills.

We'd just be prolonging the agony..

Plus, CT takes 50k (ball park figure) for his % for Ched's transfer anyway doesn't he? So why not pay him off and save on the 5% anyway which we'd lose regardless. Plus any future 5% on Aryibi, German etc If his salary is to believed to be around the 80k mark like touted on here by the ITK Gang then 50k wouldn't be that far off the mark.

When Nick Parker & Lee Strafford took over the day to day running of Sheffield Wednesday, why did Kaven Walker (their CEO) leave the club within two weeks of their appointment and why did Carson leave their board within two months?

If and when CT goes, we will need to pay him his 5% of every player sale since Doyle, as he has yet to take it..............

It clearly tipped DA over the edge

Never under estimate the power of pants on head.

That's what I've been told, along with DA deferring his interest payments that CT has deferred his player sale payments too

To quote our former chairman;

"Yes he does get 5% of every transfer and I think he deserves it"

Would of thought if he had been deferring it his answer would of been different

Incorrect as far as I know. He may not have taken the most recent 5% (not sure which player(s)) but when the times were good he was getting paid I believe.

Whatever the way forward for the club is Turner can not be part of it in any way shape or form. He has played a massive part in the position we find ourselves in. I believe in sticking together but for Christ sake the clown has to go now. If as has been suggested for all intense and purposes Carson has been CEO over the last few months Turner has been stealing a wage that we clearly can't afford. We need competent leadership that the fans will unite behind. Turnipe does not in anyway meet that requirement. Perhaps Sir Rodney Walker could use his expertise over the road like Fitzgerald??

5 percent and then we wonder why the club is in a mess. Disgraceful the way this club has been run in the last five years.

If it's not a contractual obligation I'd tell him to whistle.

No bonus structure I've ever been part of has been anything but discretionary.

It's written in to my contract that any bonus is at the discretion of the company which effectively means they can say 'no' without reason.

Turner is not qualified to be a CEO end of. We can't afford a CEO. To much cost tied up in the non playing side headcount.

A decent CEO that knows what he's doing will repay his wage several times over through savings etc.
Problem is,Turner is as far from a decent CEO as it goes.
Yes he probably is the lowest paid in the league. He's also probably the worst so deserves to be the lowest paid.

I don't doubt - that is the contract as written.
