It would have to be football league standard. It'd probably have to be at another league club.

Might as well play everyone away twice. Either that or sheff u/Mansfield, then Wednesday, Rotherham, donny then Barnsley. Any further out and it gets a bit silly. Derby, Macclesfield, burton? Most of these wouldn't entertain the idea

Sheffield Eagles Rugby League would be the best option and financially beneficial to both parties. They need a ground and they have an investor apparently.

Their new ground is proposed to hold 2,500. We might actually sell out the stadium every week at that rate.

Is it really this bad for you guys. I really mean it when I say I wouldn't wish this on any club regardless of rivalries. It's about time clubs were protected against owners like this. Oh and if you end up in the Conference, god help you!!!

Not funny.

Wow! So you thought Walton was joking then did you? That suggests to me you've no concept of how serious this situation is then. You are most definitely going to need to consider that and I think his suggestions of Matlock, Alfreton and Staveley are good shouts tbh.

Look, it's like this...

The bloke that's just walked out of your club has been propping it up for years above and beyond what even he expected would be needed. You need to find money quick just to pay the wages this month. I would say it's 100% certain you will be in admin within the next few weeks and then it's going to come down to, will someone with money come in and buy us out of the situation, or will they not? In the meantime the impact of you going into admin may well cripple some other small businesses in the town who have supported the club.

Well, you know, we look at the list of clubs who have gone into admin in the past and there's dozens of them. Some have done it more than once. And we kind of think..yeah well, it's ok, we'll come out the other side with no debt and start over again. But this cannot keep going on forever. At some point, some club is going to struggle to find the investment and the people they owe money to will become impatient.

In your case, the person you owe money to is already impatient I reckon. He's obviously not too pleased either at the moronic fans who banged on his windows after the Sheff U game. I wouldn't underestimate how much that has impacted his decision. He reacted similarly to abuse when he was at Sheffield Wednesday and he still refers to that even now. It's not the only reason, or the main reason of course, but it's what is known as the straw the broke the camel's back, and it has.

So, now you've got a bloke who you owe a lot of money and guess what? He's got first charge on your stadium. That means, he can sell it and take what he's owed from that. Or, if he prefers, he could close it down or turn it into a casino or something?

I think there's a very real chance you'll end up needing another club to let you ground share with them, every chance. Look at what happened to Coventry City when there was a dispute with the owners over the stadium. And you think that this can't happen to you then?

I really hope it doesn't but I thought Walton's suggestions were good ones and meant to be constructive. One of the best ways to deal with a crisis is to face up to it you know?

Folk of Chesterfield would never step foot in any Allen enterprise

Cept for Dems Blades of course

tbh I think I'd rather go to local non league matches to watch AFC than dwell in the 4 tier under this clueless mob.
