I'm with you on this Maverick. I can only hope the AGM reveals what the clubs long term strategy is full stop!

If we've no one to sell next season, then to fill the 'gap' we need an extra 3200 fans at each home. Never going to happen is it, especially when comparing the rubbish we've had to witness over the last couple of seasons.
I'm seriously considering not renewing my S/T for next season and I guess I'm not alone.

Ayup, Les.

First of all allow me to pass on my sincere sympathies for the loss you've recently suffered, the one to which you referred the other evening.

Secondly I hope you appreciate me keeping that little rant you had between those present. Didn't want to embarrass you or owt (tha can do that for thi sen given this playground standard 'You know where to find me' kinda stuff). Two words, though; 'anger' and 'management'. You're welcome.

Then it's no good bleating about folk saying the big lads were for you when that's exactly what you told them. Looks like your sarcasm came back to bite you on the ass.

My report of the evening? Well I was gonna sit on it for a while until I realised things were beginning to emerge anyway. I don't do other social media but I'm told that's the case on there, too. Besides, I made it abundantly clear mine was an unofficial account - and ever heard of summat called censorship?

'Biased'? 'One sided version of events'? I've just read the report on the main forum which is hardly 'the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth', is it. Be interesting to read what you've said elsewhere, too (hey - you haven't been talking about me behind my back on 'Facebook'...have you? I think that's called hypocrisy). For what it's worth I'm happy to delete anything in my post that's misleading or inaccurate. So just contact one of our mod's, they'll refer to the full recording we made on the evening, and if I'm outta line Bob's your...well, board, I guess. If not we'll just assume it's a reasonable representation of what was said - fair enough?

Finally let me say that I respect you appearing under your own name. As I do you shaking hands even though we disagree. Infact I think you'll find there're only a couple on here who bandy snippy, sneering accusations whilst cowering in anonymity - and they're on your side!

Funny thing is they recently seem to've gone very 'no talkee' as you put it...

Chris.

Heyup Thesen
I don't mind anybody knowing about my loss mate it wasn't and isn't a secret, It was Tommy Tuft of the old aquarius who we buried Wednesday at 1500 hrs

As for posts appearing elsewhere I think you will find that the posts that were made on either of the CFC fans forums were copied and pasted from yours.

Now would I be correct in assuming that your group made full recordings, Because if so you need to listen to it, particularly your Quote / Transcript of my question referring to the IT company ie SBK computers.

Chris I shake hands with every single person I meet, Please don't feel it was anything but a greeting

Please make my rant known, It matters not to me, I just thought that as there were 30 people present and you kept getting the notes and whispers and kept shouting up over everybody else that it was only fair they should be allowed a question after all it was a Three group Fans Forum it wasn't the Chris Snell question time.

Oh just to mention it, There were others of your group that thought the same.

The whole thing was a nice idea but to think anything good would actually come of it was rather naive.

It was worth a try but if anything, reading between the lines, all I think it will do is increase the gap between 'us' and 'them'.

Ultimately DA wants out and the sooner the people with the money can get their heads and wallets together the better.

If it doesn't happen then I'm afraid only one person is going to be left seriously out of pocket and it ain't any of us.

Les made a point that he thought Chris was asking too many questions, i.e. his question time comment. He then said "others" in the message board group felt the same. Clarevoyant then replied "are you sure"?, I feel the same as clarevoyant.

So we're forecasting a loss of £1.5m for this season! No wonder the club took a 'calculated' punt on Ched Evans, desperate times require desperate measures as they say. The club must be praying he bags plenty of goals asap so they can flog him for a £1m+ in January.
I wonder what the club's strategy for balancing the books next season when we're in League 2?

£1m+? Dave Allen wants £5m and then to sell the club!

Glad to give you the chance to clarify ;)

So Les is posturing? (Again?).

Can we just ignore his interruptions please??

He's not our 'Club' we're discussing after all.

Cheers all,

AB.

I'm still waiting for some detail

Is that article on the OS and some snippets on here the sum total of the output from that meeting? The OS said it was a summary and it cetainly was that!

I'm expecting a decent level of detail in the coming days, preferably prior to the AGM

It was actually a good night.

However, what the meeting did do was to crystalise the problem.

I'm not going to embarrass a member of our group by naming him, but he's well known in the local business community, a qualified professional who would add instant value to our boardroom and the business. Not only would he not want the association, I'm not sure the club would see his skillset as a necessity.

after reading Nuck Johnsons "sanitised" notes I'm glad some of those attending gave us a better insight into the evenings events. Ive read all the relevant posts and one thing is glaringly obvious Turnipe has to be sacked asap. It's clear he has no business acumen no judge of character and no common sense. Allen has his reasons for keeping him and a few thousand town fans have their reasons why they are not prepared to give Turnipe their hard earned cash to fritter away due to his incompetence. As long as Turnipe is CEO and running the club day to day there will sadly only be one outcome. We will continue to lose money and only bankruptcy or administration will see him finally gone

I'd hoped the meeting the other night might show a genuine plan to halt the financial slide but with Captain Turnipe still at the helm it's only a matter of time till we hit the Iceberg!

Tell me why Rodney Walker would "rescue" Sutcliffe & CFC International Football Academy and employ Kevin Rafflegate Fitzgerald?...

I can't believe we paid Fitzgerald off. He basically committed fraud and supposedly alone so how does that get rewarded?

Having attended, I have the opposite view. We achieved far more than we could ever hope for at the AGM, where DA will stifle all discussion on the DC. I will be attending in a relaxed mood having had my say, sit back, let others have a go, and probably just ask DW a few questions about footy.

I agree certain people had to answer questions they never would at an AGM. This doesn't mean the top table should stifle any future meetings along the same lines. The more honest the questions and answers become the more all parties can try to work together.
