Since City purchased CLUB Not a single Driver has been brought in from Sheffield Co, We do actually get totally NEW drivers who have to learn the roads, Part of the Deal was that No Drivers were brought in from Parent Company, I wish they would then I can get an even bigger payout, We protected every single person that worked or works for us in the contract.

Please find things out before making such ridiculous statements

Are you actually accusing Cartman of lying?

Please say you aren't.

why would I lie?

My friend has just taken over as landlord of The Royal Oak in The Shambles

I had a taxi from top end of Brampton there and back last week, on the way there the guy had no idea where the Royal Oak was (which I could forgive as it is tucked away in the shambles) on the way back I told him my destination which he'd never heard of (again forgivable as it is a small road in Brampton) and when asked the best way to go I told him straight up Chatsworth Road - he asked which one is Chatsworth Road

I continue to use City/Club as the booking app is excellent and you tend to get a taxi quicker than other firms and they have always been reliable and give a realistic wait time (which not all firms do) - but the account above is factual and I can only assume it was an out of town driver as surely any experienced Chesterfield Cabbie would know Chatsworth Road?

Thank you But as I stated (In which I never called you a Liar) Cab Firms do have Brand New drivers who unfortunately do not know every road,
Someone else stated that City are bringing in drivers/cars from Sheffield, That was in reply to that statement also.

Whilst new drivers may come in you'd expect someone local to have a clue about Chatsworth Rd! I had one a couple of years ago who didnt know how to get from Brampton to the Train Station!

To be fair to Les bear in mind he has nothing to do with the new set-up.....he sold out, no point beating him with a stick when he can't do anything about it!

I will probably get shot down for this but I'm going to post.

I was 1 of the 30 attendees on the night and participated in throwing questions to the top table.
However I am a little disappointed that the questions and answers have appeared mostly in full on here already. Not that I disagree with any of the reports or content, purely as it was discussed at the start and at the end that a full detailed report would be given by Nick Johnson from the recorded debate that took place.

We were even informed that no action would have been taken towards any individual who asked any libellous questions.

Personally I thought we had took a step in the right direction but I now fear we have taken 2 steps backwards.

There was a lot of questions asked surrounding the worries and findings from the fans, both Ashley & Chris were continually attacked by all the 10 attendees from Bobs Board with a few questions posed by the Facebook Forum & Paul & The Bridge Inn representatives. I thought with the information they had at hand, the two of them answered openly & honestly. Chris Breeze and John Croot also answered questions that they could, so all in all, not 1 of the top table shirked questions or hid.

From my point of view, I would have liked to have seen a version of the questions and answers from the club before it was shared openly, I do not think a few days waiting for Nick to have gone through the recording would have hurt any fans. The same reports would still have appeared, but a few days later.

Apart from the questions on the night, Bobs Board submitted another list of questions to be answered that we thought may need researching. These have been answered but we are still in the position of readdressing the answers as we feel that they don't 'stack' up just yet, so we are asking for further clarity.

I think we may have damaged the good intentions both sides had.
Sorry, but that is my view.

Rob

Thank you but the questions are fair and not biased and are general questions.

There is a test which is controlled and carried out by the CBC as well as various other checks.

They are only tested on a very few road locations Unlike in London where a high degree of knowledge is required

There is a written knowledge prior to the driving test again held by CBC

All the booking systems now have a Sat Nav system built in for the new drivers use, But we used to tell the driver to ask if they weren't sure as the Sat Navs tend to use main roads which can sometimes add expense to a fare.

Also there is what is known as "street blind" (I am NOT saying this is what it was) I once picked up a fare from Train Station he told me "Blackdown Ave" I couldn't for the life of me think where it was and had to ask for directions, He directed me to Loundsley Green and then I suddenly realised I used to live on Blackdown Avenue.

Right, First off I have NEVER asked FOR nor NEEDED personal protection, When asked Wednesday what the goons were for I sarcastically replied "For Me" the reason I did that was because when they first appeared on the scene it was stated on this forum that they were for me after a small confrontation I had with F2 and MXXX whatever, or shall I say Mike Pearson and Chris Snell.

Now if any of you would like to test if I need protection You know where to find me and how to find me.

You know my name (I don't Hide it), So please PM me.

Because the ones that are so brave hiding themselves, you never know I might already know who you are?

But we knew this based on the last 2 years worth of accounts.

The fact that there is no plan to reverse this after two whole years is absolutely shocking. In any other business I can think of the CEO would have been given his marching orders way before now.

I believe this is no longer about CT's suitability.

I think 4 things need to happen to turn this around. They need to happen NOW.

1/ The directors defer interest payments for a minimum of
3 years. Communicated to the fans.
2/ A 3 year finicial plan needs to be put in place and published. With the aim of breaking even. That does not include any refrence to player sales.
3/ My main point- an external review of the running of the club is needed.
4/ Once steps 1,2 and 3 are in place we need to get the fans back and rally around the club as supporters.

The club needs to move forward, relying on player sales is a dangerous game with the future of OUR club. Both the board and fans have a massive part to play in sorting this.

To A. Carson we need a statement of intent from the club, big handful bullet points on what the clubs plan is going to be over the next year. E.g. Address the clubs operating spenditure, maintain the current playing budget, encourage fans back to the club.

Any talk of protests need to stop at the moment.

Whilst I agree with your suggestions, I don't think our chairman will accept advice. Certainly not from any fans.

In fact I get the feeling that the board are to a point frightened to offer advice.
