Yes we are, good idea on the Charity angle
Please could you not sit on the fence !!!!
Two things..
Firstly I work at Sky Bet + anything charity related they would definitely get involved with. We auctioned of shirts last year as well as a framed shirt/winners medal from the promotion season (I tried to pinch but failed) so might be worth dropping one of the lads a mail. I assume you'll have contacts here if not I will point you in the right direction.
Secondly more of a question i'd like someone to raise. If, after the success we have had and everything that came with it (increased gates, player sales etc), we still cannot reduce the debt then what will it take (apart from a miracle)?
Struggle to see that if the debt has grown or not reduced in the past 3 seasons then it never will..especially with how things have been for the last 18 months..genuinely fear for the future of the club and wondered what we need to do to reduce the debt without sending the club into oblivion?
There is a formula out there that doesn't involve spending massively and being (relatively) successful, ala Burton Albion, why are they so different to us with smaller crowds/budgets etc?
