What does he expect when we've gone nearly 8 hours without scoring and lost goodness knows how many matches. I'm glad he is up for the fight. In fact it portrays a siege mentality when a team at the bottom keeps their manager. Staying and fighting: I'll give him credit for that.

I just wonder if we could get someone as a motivator for the dressing room.say jack lester,in as an advisor perhaps.
Just thinking outside the box to avoid any sackings etc.other clubs have done similar things.anyone agree?

No he wasn't - League 1 before, League 1 after!

I think he means performance-wise, cos our current team is a world away from that Shef Utd team that just missed out on promotion.

Although, they had just been relegated and were desperately trying to off load him as his wages were said to be £10k a week.
