just watching motd, noticed that darikwa is not even on bench, dyche at old Trafford, what a memory that bring back btw. could our ex-captain do us a massive favour and send tendayi back in January, how much could we do with that type of energy from full back?

And if his current level of playing time continues he won't have played a competitive game for over 7 months. Hed be well short of match fitness, and by then we may really be in desperate need of immediate results.

He's a class fullback but hes well out of our budget.

If we can't afford to sign Gary Taylor-Fletcher, we certainly can't afford Darikwa.

Sadly I think by the time the window opens after Christmas it will be too late whatever happens. Sad sad times both on and off the field st the moment. I know we keep harping on but how rapidly we've fallen in such a few short months is a disgrace and a crying shame in equal measure.

Tom Anderson was on the Burnley bench, I think he not very good.
Tendi not on the Burnley bench...

Albeit different positions, but you get the gist

Has Tom Anderson ever got on the pitch for Burnley's first team? Or even been on the bench and not come in....

TBH, I know he's been on the bench, not a club re first team action.
As soon as Lowton was back in contention he was benched and never returned as far as I know.

Honestly, I've never been a Tendi fan. I found his speed got him out of trouble playing wing back. His attacking part of play consisted off beating a player and poor final ball. Yes better than Gbolly wing play by a touch but not premiership final ball IMO

And that's relevant to us in what way?

Tendayi in our team would add pace, cover and more importantly give the opposition some defending to do. We have so few outlets at the minute we just invite the opposition on as we have nothing going forward. Whilst his final ball was never great if you can't see how he would improve our current set up the finer points of the game are lost on you. In fact the glaringly obvious point in this case.

As in regards of is he good enough to warrant having him here.
I don't think he is and the money he us on now would make SEB look like a bargain

Golly has pace and he's gash. What's your point? Have another speedster in who's final ball is also gash and on big money? Splendid idea

I think the point Ex3 is making, quite correctly, is that whether he's good enough for the Premier League is irrelevant to any value for us.

It almost goes without saying that he would instantly improve us massively.

Fair enough lads, I personally think he would bomb up and down the wing with no end product in an attacking capacity. Defensively, you probably right, he's better than anything we've got ATM.
So in a nutshell, defensively yes but IMO, he would not provide the service for the strikers (as a wing back)

So basically you're saying he would improve the side!!

Btw nobody in the thread as suggested we should pay, or could afford, what he gets paid in the prem. very few players go out on loan and have their full wages paid by the lower league club.

What's Andersons wage compared to TD? Both at Burnley.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

Only slightly but yes- but not as a wing back.
