From reading comments on here many fans have already reached the point where they can't be bothered to attend away games or even home games as well and many fans who have always attended have lost interest will provide a very worrying for the future of the club.
The Southend away game was the first I missed this season due to other commitments and today was the first game missed by choice.

I am sat now thinking should I bother on Tuesday to Coventry.
No goals in the last 5 games, 6 defeats on the trot and and no passion or performance to get excited about.
Not a lot there to convince me to go.
Then I thought about the alternative, spending more time with the wife!

See you Tuesday!!
Have passport will travel

Can see Town prising a point out of the Ricoh somehow; trouble is, 1 won't be enough to bleed away immediate pressure.

Love the comment about the wife BTW :D

Imagine what it will be like after crimbo!

Swap "Ched is on Fire" with "SEB is on Fire"

Particularly if by that time, Town are out of the FA Cup.

Has SEB been scoring for the Shrews then?

EDIT...according to WIKI....apparently er...not

I'd go to Coventry.

But only if Katy Perry was waiting for me.

Good man. Anyone reading this board as a neutral would think we'd never had a relegation fight before. Problem is it's a vicious circle, people stop coming, revenue goes down crowd gets quieter players feel the bad atmosphere and things go from bad to worse.
The ideal solution would be for the fans to still up in numbers and sing their hearts out for 90 minutes encouraging the players on and I think I need to wake up now.

We (as football fans) might kid ourselves otherwise but it really makes no difference.

Agree; it may put you off if you were an away player at the Nou Camp, but hardly must scratch the surface playing in front of sub 5,000.

That last sentence even though it is said tongue in cheek is even more vital for the next home match against the deedahs

Even though we have gripes against a lot of things at the club surely true town fans do not want to see us
humiliated live on tv against the Blunts?

Just saying

Not bad for £5k a week or if u believe Frank Carson £2k. Who sanctioned the signing? The same person who appointed Saunders?? I rest my case. It's all the fans fault though for being negative and pathetic !!

He said nobody earns more than 3k. He might have meant of our current players and you could argue he isn't one, if you wanted to bend the truth I suppose

The Ricoh would be a new ground for me, but (thankfully?) I'll be chilling in a bar somewhere in Reykjavik instead. If we start getting tanked I can just switch the phone off and be done with it. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised with a win.

can't get to Coventry or Colchester, so next game on offer for me is sheff utd. my motivation to go this is that I want town to win that game, can't stand sheff utd, never have. things are very wrong at cfc yet I still want to go and watch my home town club win football matches especially against local rivals. sheff utd think of themselves as better than us yet we have been in the same division for many a recent season, last seasons home defeat to them was embarrassing so I want to put that right (do the players?), Wilson was my first town hero, sheff utd dislike him despite him doing well there, so all these things are my motivation to go and will us on to win. all that said I will support any organised protest against allen and co who are doing an awful job at running cfc.
