Where do you get this from ? don't avoid the question aa stating this as though its fact is not on.

There are the figures provided to me

"We do not pay any player more than £3,000 a week. This is a ceiling.

We have:

£2,000 Or Over £2,000 10 Players
Over £1,000 to £2,000 7 Players
Under £1,000 9 Players"

I'd like to try and guess the 10 "high earners" just for fun

My guess
Tommy Lee
Ian Evatt
Sam Hird
SEB
Gary Liddle
Jay O'Shea
Gboly Aryibi
Ched Evans
Dan Jones
Paul McGinn

Thought I heard Evans wages were being paid by his father in law- or have I got that completely backwards!

Just from the on the pitch perspective I think this list tells a story; these players represent the majority of our playing budget

Tommy Lee - injured all season
Ian Evatt - suffered injuries and probably past his best
Sam Hird - surely no one can have any complaints
SEB- just seeing out his contract
Gary Liddle - L2 quality imo
Jay O'Shea - having a poor season and getting worse each game
Gboly Aryibi - struggling to find his best form in the current team
Ched Evans - just back in action after injury/court case
Dan Jones - injured all season
Paul McGinn - injured

Another unsubstantiated rumour, seemingly founded on the fact (pre quashed conviction) the father in law apparently offered to recoup any loss Oldham had as a result of sponsors pulling out when they were considering signing him.

I'm told the current wage bill is £2.3 Million + Appearance Money (Approx £150,000) which is below half way in the wages league table

Liam O'Neill is one of the big earners. I'd say O'Nell in, Gboly out.

O'Neil in (league 2 standard), Martinez in (long term injury) and take out Gboly and Mcginn and makes the situation more grim

So we pay 4,178,566 on wages plus national insurance of 414,168 and pensions of 50,594

So by my calculations we pay £1,728,566 in other wages. We have far to many hangers on at the club delivering little value for money, obviously we have the catering and bar-staff etc and food sellers, but I bet there are a few hangers on stealing a wage.

That's the big problem!

This alone has jumped by over a million in four years, that along with the legal, professional erm fees and agents have also risen by £230,000, that's were the bulk of the transfer sales is going.

Remember the £2.3m is the current playing wage bill not at year ending 30/6/16 but I agree with the point you make.

The average number of employee during the reporting year is reported as follows (last year's figures in brackets)

Number of management players and coaches 77 (71)
Number of administration, commercial, conference & banqueting and community staff 102 (94)
Number of matchday staff 79 (83)

Total 258 (248)

Apart from matchday staff the numbers appear extraordinarily high to me

I agree, along with the 5% for Turner, which will also be denied.

By the club secretary, so where is the source of your contradictory information. You should be more than happy to provide to expose what I've been told as incorrect, especially as it would put me in my place for supposedly acting superior.

The only conclusion to reach with no answer is you've made it up. which helps no-one when we are trying to obtain facts.

Mark ask Ashley what the plan going forward is. If he doesn't answer tell him to go away politely. Your a Spireite and a top lad but the Deedahs are making you look stupid. Carson can post on here whenever he is sober sorry whenever he wants

And your m8 Ashley is making you look like a puppet. You tried to help build bridges a few months ago. The club lied to you then why believe them now?

I'm sorry but I don't have to answer to you - I know you wish we all could and would but it ain't gonna happen.
You may be a milk monitor / sorry moderator and have the ear of a random board member but trust me on this one (I'm right).

He will defiantly be in with his predigree and Saunders/Turner stupidity

Don't see Ariyibi being there as he hasn't had a contract extension since his early days when he was an occasional player

What about Dan Gardner, offered a contract extension by Saunders so could be an outside bet
