It's staggering from some,

He's still a slimeball because he likes sex with anyone

Whereas, she as a sexually liberated female, cannot be judged if she behaves in same manner.

Fancy spending 2 years in the nick for a crime you did not commit then ending up playing for chesterfield, when will his nightmare end?

It says he is keen to see out his 1 year contract out of loyalty.
Don't we have an option for a 2nd year?

Don't worry, we all know if there's any decent money to be had he will be gone.

The net result of this will be the suing of newspapers, cps and I guess a few others. All the while playing for us and putting us in the fore front of the headlines.

Hopefully his goals will keep us in this division and then he can move on and advance his career.

I think his nightmare could be playing in L2 next season and waving to Mansfield as they take our place in L1.
God I hate this league.

 Exactly. That's what the club's part in the deal was all about. If it comes to fruition it will be the Monkeyhangars and Oldhams loss.Their fans took the moral high ground and petitioned against him signing for their respective clubs. What does that say about us?Well we were desparate.

Dave I don't mind waving to Mansfield, but it will be with two fingers.

I doubt he'll be suing anyone and as for playing in League 2? Don't be daft, he'll be long gone.

Just as daft was that the media weren't even allowed to ask about his injury. Tooley was speculating another 4 weeks on Peak so I don't is he has been slipped some info.

This morning's news points out that he will sue his original lawyers.
He should also sue North Wales police. Why was he arrested? Theft of a hand bag?
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

The reports are muddled. I seen some claiming he is going to sue Sheffield United for £500K but I guess they are getting that mixed up with claiming "wrongful imprisonment" which you can apply for from the goverment, capped at £500K. The SoS decides whether your claim is justified based on the evidence pointing to your overwhelming innocence and that no reasonable jury should have found you guily. Applying for that would cost him nothing and he'd be mad not to.

If refused he could take his case to the High Court, but I think the test of innocence would be the same. That would be like going throught the trial again but with the ground rules dramatically changed. Suing his lawyers might be the more lucrative and slightly less onerous.

How can he sue Sheffield United? For sacking him after he was imprisoned? Insane. He's better off getting on with his football and not drawing attention to his sordid antics any further.

That's the best advice I've heard so far.

As I said I think it is the papers getting a tad confused and/or reporting anything

It would be amusing though.

It would be considering all the blades I've seen commenting seem certain he's heading back there and there is no place he'd rather be than the lane.
