I'm not convinced, but it looks like I'm not gonna win on here so I'm gonna drop it.

He said that she was a 'vile bitch' and that it was 'her fault she couldn't keep her knickers on'.

Also, Angel is a Spireite, Im pretty comfortable watching Anime. You should be less comfortable being a misogynistic fool.

Bizarre reaction from some people. Its amazing how many folk haven't bothered to read up on it before commenting.

Also the sheff yoo fans seem to be buzzing their sausages off and they are sure he'll be "coming home".

The complainant is called the complainant for a reason.

She was the complainant. She pursued Evans through the court in order to redress what she perceived as an offence against her.

Without her input there would have been no court case. Though I think the fact that this ridiculous case ever got to court is the fault of the CPS, who should have dismissed it in the same manner it was dismissed today.

In the articles below she is described as the complainant, because she is the complainant.

** And before anyone gets their back up, again, here's the definition of complainant,

noun
1.
a person, group, or company that makes a complaint, as in a legal action.

Ouch, how am I going to sleep tonight after being called misogynistic?

Well is the answer.

I'm sick of seeing some woman pursue men for sexual assault in the courts when its obviously utter rubbish. Its happened with Ched Evans, Cliff Richard, even Bill Clinton among lots of others! It can ruin lives and reputations, yet the women who do it get off without a word said.

Given the direction this message board has gone in the past 12-18 months, it doesn't surprise me one bit.

That's the legal terminology.

It was the CPS that pursued a criminal prosecution against Ched, wrongly in my opinion. Not her. In court on BOTH occasions she said she had no memory of events. If she'd said something different first time there wouldn't have been a retrial at all.

If Ched was a free agent walking out of court today, there would be at least 72 managers trying to sign him. For once, I'd say a huge well done to Dave Allen for upstaging them all. CFC is a huge winner. No need to discuss rights and wrongs of the court case at all. No need to gloat. Send Ched and his missus off to Barbados for a fortnight for some solitude is what I'd do, to prove we value him and look after our players.

2 weeks in Barbados!!!! With the state of our finances he'd be lucky to get 2 days in Bognor...

You're wrong. Of course the CPS pursued the prosecution, they always do as they make the decision over whether there is a case to answer.

But they only do that if the complainant chooses to press charges. She is the complainant, she made the complaint. I've posted the meaning of the word complainant. It's pretty straightforward.

Women who falsely accuse people of rape can be prosecutated. I assure you, the amount of women who actually do this pales into almost insignificance to the amount of women who either don't report rape due to being judged by cretins such as yourself, fear of being called a liar by a generally patriarchal society and all the hassle involved or the amount of women who have actually been raped but there isn't enough evidence to convict the offender. I assume you'll be just as outspoken about this moving forwards.

The club should have told all employees to make no comments at all on social media.

That certainly was the case when we signed him.

But isn't that why this should never have been brought to court, the CPS said you should press a case for rape, which she then would have agreed with even though she never ever accused him of rape and had no recollection of it?
