...unsustainable.

As I see it, the only way to rescue the situation is for either CFC to pull away from it totally and by doing so, it closes down overnight or alternatively, it is brought in-house and new personnel are recruited to run it.

I was astounded with AC's comments on here recently about believing in Sutcliffe and the model. Given Ashley's comments, I was rather hoping he would have shared his research to support his stance.

The point of the planned meeting was to similarly convince us, can't see how that can now possibly happen

He believes in it that much, his son now has a job within PPP.

What baffles me is that an enterprise where the former non-league footballer allegedly went months without a wage, can now support both of them.

Carson jnr. is a lucky young man to receive what is said to be a very generous wage for a part-time post.

Maybe he is very qualified for the job?
Maybe?

A Masters without a Bachelors degree first?
Ridiculous really

I think most degrees are ridiculous. I can't see the point of most of them unless you have to have one for a specific job in order to be affiliated. There are some really stupid ones out there that just seem pointless

What a joke!

Still using the CFC e mail I see 😜

Clearly in order order to show there is no association with the club all parties concerned have gone out of their way to share an email address, a kit, facilities, a CEO, a place to serve CCJ's.

Anyone suggesting there is an association is obviously barking up the wrong tree.

Remaining dialogue here, the last exchange was on 31 August, looks like we've got to guess what might be happening given the meeting isn't taking place.

Good morning Liam

Happy to answer your questions when you answer mine, why am I blocked ?

Mark

Good Morning Mark.

Sorry in advance Mr B..., but that isn’t the way this will work.

The questions are reasonable and should you require or wish to have access to us as a follower through twitter then my advice is to answer the questions. Should you not, then we have nothing further to discuss and you will remain blocked.

Kindest Regards.

Liam

Liam

My answers are;

1. I'm interested in the concept and how it works
2. See above
3. Can't answer yet as I'm blocked.
4. Yes, Bobs Board
5. Yes, Chesterfield FC

I trust you can now lift the block

Mark

Liam

Now that you have the answers to your questions are you going to lift the block?

Mark

Liam

I take it you are not going to lift the block despite the answering of your questions.

All fairly pointless really as I'll just take a look without logging on as I did last night

Mark

Morning Mark.

Its clear that you don’t need my assistance any longer.

Many Thanks.
Liam

Hi Liam

I do as I'd prefer the block to be lifted as this enables me keep up to date.

I can't imagine the other 5,000+ followers facing such inquisition

I trust you will now lift the block

Mark

Typical Sutcliffe, tries to have the last word. This is somewhat similar to an exchange I had with the know it all a couple of years ago.

Thinking about it, I had a meeting with Sutcliffe at the Proact, 2 meetings in fact.......interesting since he has never been employed by the club.

He doesn't help himself, at the time it was expected he'd be holding court to discuss the international academy, hence why I wanted to find out a bit more about how it was operating

The problem is his ego gets in the way of everything.........young lads have left the DC in droves because they felt LS was obstructing opportunities.

So, effectively one investor invites you to look around the facilities in person and then at the side time one of the others blocks you on Twitter?

Did Carson forget to tell this Sutcliffe fella what he told us?

Probably

I was astounded with AC's comments on here recently about believing in Sutcliffe and the model. Given Ashley's comments, I was rather hoping he would have shared his research to support his stance.

Given that both AC and CT have supposedly invested heavily in it then I can see it being brought in house. Therefore that might involve LS being a fully fledged employee of the club, and his enterprise coming under CFCs wing?
If that were to happen then surely even more of a reason for many folk to stop contributing extra revenue to the club.

I'd guess that if one caviat of AC and CT investing the reported £30k each in the PPP (effectively steering it away from the impending iceberg!) was that as investors and not directors, they get a 'man on the inside'.

My guess is that AC/CT don't think LS has the business acumen to effectively run what seems, on paper, to be a decent concept and as they have other concerns day to day, need to keep an eye on him.

I asked about the PPP website a couple of weeks ago and was told that some changes were being implemented, including a rebranding exercise. Not sure it takes this long, however, to redesign a website (although it was messy and poorly laid out before).

Good Morning.

Could you answer a number of questions:
1. Why would you wish to follow The International Academy?
2. Why would you want any form of association with this company?
3. What benefit would your association with us bring the international academy?
4. Are you a member of a public forum or message board, if so which one?
5. Do you live locally and which club do you support?

Please confirm your answers, by return email.

Kind Regards.

Presumably, as a mod on here, you could employ such filtering tactics for any new (or existing) members of this board, too, if you wanted?

That's exactly what they want you to think.

Turner and Sutcliffe set up a business with inadequate planning or start up cash. It's taken 2 years for those inadequacies to surface. They obviously thought that neither planning or cash were essential. I'll leave it to you figure out how that can be achieved.

CT and AC are joined at the hip.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
