Is something going on at the PPP?

1) Their site is STILL offline.
2) LS appears to have altered his LinkedIn (it now tells you very little)
3) LS name has been struck from the official CFC website
4) I understand that the PPP no longer have an u19's team

I was blocked when I attempted to follow the above twitter feed a couple of weeks ago, when I emailed to ask why i was given the following questions to answer, when I did the block remained....

Good Morning.

Could you answer a number of questions:
1. Why would you wish to follow The International Academy?
2. Why would you want any form of association with this company?
3. What benefit would your association with us bring the international academy?
4. Are you a member of a public forum or message board, if so which one?
5. Do you live locally and which club do you support?

Please confirm your answers, by return email.

Kind Regards.

It seems I'm blocked too! Not sure I've ever tweeted them before or anything.

Anyone else?

They'll have got the decorators in, to make it look like two separate legal entities, which of course it is, obviously.

Ridiculous really

It's not like they won't get preferential treatment either......oh, hang on..

For 'normal' folk, it is very unusual to be allowed onto a MSc/MA/MBA unless you can provide evidence of considerable work experience linked to the masters; most people need to have an undergraduate degree at least 2.2 level in order to show sufficient prior learning and ability. The course risks complete failure if they just let anyone on it.

That said, some masters degrees are easier than others; an MSc (involving scientific experimentation, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, intense research, product development, etc) tending to be the hardest, whilst things like a MA in Advice and Guidance being a complete doddle....my guess would be this Directorship qual is on a similar par.

Jamie Oliver is currently studying for a MSc in Nutrition...he's paying the university lectures to educate him at home. Personally, I think there is a lack of fairness involved here; essentially, he is being privately educated, one to one...that clearly brings its own advantages. The OU wouldn't operate like that.

I'm not, but it's not a locked account so you can view it from a non-blocked profile.

Pretty moribund stuff on there to be honest, not sure why they'd want to block anyone.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Remaining dialogue here, the last exchange was on 31 August, looks like we've got to guess what might be happening given the meeting isn't taking place.

Good morning Liam

Happy to answer your questions when you answer mine, why am I blocked ?

Mark

Good Morning Mark.

Sorry in advance Mr B..., but that isn’t the way this will work.

The questions are reasonable and should you require or wish to have access to us as a follower through twitter then my advice is to answer the questions. Should you not, then we have nothing further to discuss and you will remain blocked.

Kindest Regards.

Liam

Liam

My answers are;

1. I'm interested in the concept and how it works
2. See above
3. Can't answer yet as I'm blocked.
4. Yes, Bobs Board
5. Yes, Chesterfield FC

I trust you can now lift the block

Mark

Liam

Now that you have the answers to your questions are you going to lift the block?

Mark

Liam

I take it you are not going to lift the block despite the answering of your questions.

All fairly pointless really as I'll just take a look without logging on as I did last night

Mark

Morning Mark.

Its clear that you don’t need my assistance any longer.

Many Thanks.
Liam

Hi Liam

I do as I'd prefer the block to be lifted as this enables me keep up to date.

I can't imagine the other 5,000+ followers facing such inquisition

I trust you will now lift the block

Mark
