Let's say once again a development school is a good idea IF RUN PROPERLY!

Unfortunately this entire thread pays testament to those doing so being incapable, pursuing some other agenda or both.

So is the meeting taking place?? Apparently another scandal about to break. Zorro I've said before I respect your stance trying to build bridges. Carson says it's a 2 way street which is correct. Which side of the street is he on.

The development school if run by cfc with people with a genuine affection for the area and the club would be something we could all get behind and applaud.

Unfortunately it is run for personal gain/greed with scant regard for local families.

Get behind The Community Trust everyone and the young spireites.

It's now ten days since Ashley Carson agreed to a meeting.

So, as he was the one happy to take things forward, why no date?

As Turner stated in the national press 'my door is always open', why no date?

As Sutcliffe is presumably on the premises every day, why no date?

I hope the whole thing wasn't some sort of bluff which has clearly been called by 'Bob's Board' members.

Turner also quite clearly stated during an interview that "DC is running at great profit" when it quite clearly wasn't.
If you see what I'm getting at!

I heard the 'lack of a date' is down to a somebody called 'James Higgins', who unfortunately through terrible personal misfortune, can't now make it.

There's a naivety that thinks this meeting will ever happen.
If the club wanted to embrace a new openness then they would have cleared the diaries of the 2 or 3 people involved and made it happen.
As it stands it will be the 12th of never. We'll all have grown very old waiting and Zorro will still be telling us what a generous offer the pie and peas is.

Carson was obviously canned up when he made the offer on here with the abysmal grammar. Clearly regretting it now knowing full well the folk on here have the board over a barrel.

There's that word again 'naive', why would you think the meeting won't take place?
Who has the most to lose by not holding the meeting?

The bad feelings that the fans have has been going on for years, it's not been 2 weeks since AC agreed to hold a meeting with the fans. I have proposed 5 days now in September and all have been turned down. I know AC is stalling the meeting because of something that is happening behind the scene, if that doesn't come to fruition, there is only 2 people with egg on their faces and I'm not 1 of them.

There are a lot of questions that the fans want to ask and get answers for, but I can bet anything you want that there will be additional questions come to the front before the meeting takes place.

I can't understand the rush tbh, fans are choosing to take their own course of action regarding boycotting this and that so it is only the club that is losing out by delaying the meeting.

Regarding your comment re the pie and peas, let's not bother with it, let's not bother with a free pint but keep the £10 fee which will be donated to charity, this way the club will lose less by not providing. I would prefer a civil meeting with order being maintained, it appears to me that people already know the answers to their questions and are only going to the meeting with the intention of crucifying certain people.

My biggest issue at this moment is the role KF had and the damage HE has done to the club which is now taking its toll. My main issue is outside of the PPP. Rafflegate is a minor issue in my eyes to what I know.

As soon as I hear something, I will post it on here.

Bearing in mind that rafflegate was near enough fraud in many people's eyes that's a very worrying statement mate. If that's the case maybe certain people at the club should be very concerned?

Zorro, I know your heart is in the right place but please don't start to get dragged into AC's world of lies, lies and damned staristics.
Nobody here has anything other than respect tor the work you've done thus far but please try not to be so subjective over AC's words and actions.

Doesnt sound good mate does it? This next scandal may be seismic, if raffle gate was only a minor issue when I along with many others thought it was huge.

No it doesn't. One or two respectable posters have themselves given snippets that something else is imminent, also one has suggested there maybe another CCJ against the club, add to that Zorros post above, then it seems the brown stuff might be about to hit the fan...what the hell is happening?
