Have we direct comparisons between the home turnout for the first three games of this and last season to put an accurate figure on it?
What I do know, however, is that folk who've previously been ultra-loyal - to the point of occasionally coming into conflict with protesting Spireites - have now snubbed decades held season tickets.
Many other long standing fans have also decided to stay away and/or refrain from buying merchandise, Spire Lotto and 50/50 tickets.
Ashley Carson himself admitted the Club have sold several hundred fewer season tickets.
Meanwhile sponsors have withdrawn support whilst reports from the lounges suggest they're poorly populated.
Why?
Well I'm sure it's a combination of several issues, not helped by bewildering pay-on-the-day charges, but in an attempt to 'nutshell' disillusionment I'd guess it's 'cos folk simply don't trust certain individuals running CFC.
The main reason why I'm not going is because of how the clubs being run and the sheer arrogance and attitude towards its customers and they can't even explain what is happening. Everything is a contradiction.
To get me back, the club would need to:
Explain the link/no link between the academy over the road and the club, in an official statement.
Explain why we lost over a million quid in our most successful season and what's happened to all the income from sales, where has it gone? What have we spent it on?
Be transparent about the clubs dealings (as I have lost all faith in the operations and the ability to operate successfully at a profit).
Get rid of the ridiculous pay-on-the-day charges and the additional quid online.
Obviously this won't happen so I'll continue my boycott.
