Pleased we won and anyone whose been can give a better insight into how we played than I can from listening.

Ebanks-Blake ??
How did he look

Thought Evatt may have needed a rest or is it along with Gardner a sign that they won't be starters Saturday.

Didn't sound convincing .
Any Wolves players that may have a chance of being loaned??

Did Evatt play in another game over the weekend or something, charity event for Blackpool?

Any idea if this is the lowest ever attendance at a senior Chesterfield home match?

I remember 1400 around 1987 last match

Out of interest, how many of our starting 11 were under 23?

Good point, at least 5 of the starters were 23 or under and then 2 of the subs

Then again they are much nearer the first team than theirs I presume so I suppose it was a ligit point

We had a 1,200 attendance for a 2-0 home defeat to Preston North End in the Football League Trophy, 1996-97

Unfortunately can't find attendances on Football League Trophy matches pre this date.

Anyone help?

Who managed Wolves tonight, was it Zenga or another manager like academy or reserve manager?

Tooley said it was the lowest crowd since the 30s and the third lowest ever

Also he said the Freight Rover clash against Burnley attracted 1050 in the 80s at the time we were getting sub 2500 crowds (I think)

Looking on the bright side, good game time for a few young / fringe players, a first goal for Dennis.
And seb signs off with a goal (maybe)

You can't read anything into the attendance when most people on here are boycotting it due to the new structure. I doubt it would have been anywhere near as low if it had still been the old format. I also fully expect there to be plenty of lower attendances than ours throughout the rest of the competition.

How can you not read anything into the attendance? If there are 1500 people who didn't and wouldn't go (which is about right compared to other early rounds in the JPT) against opposition as it was, wouldn't you say that's a significant vote of no confidence in the tournament as it is?

Honestly, I thought It was a decent run out against a Wolves side that had pace all over the pitch and were very much up for the game.

Ebanks Blake was a credit to himself too, tireless running all night and made himself 2/3 very good chances as well as being an outlet for the midfielder, including running in to the channels. Allinson played well, made a couple of excellent saves and was quick off his line, too.

That's good to hear. Not being interested in attending the game doesn't mean that I didn't want us to win or benefit from it.

SEB back involved at the weekend?

We're away so obviously didn't go, but I doubt I would have if we'd been home. Saying that I was still checking my phone at regular intervals. Oh and the £11 at 8/11 helped.

Brett Ormerod's testimonial at AFC Flyde. Looked like he played all or most of the match

wouldn't surprise me, although neither would it surprise me to see him moving on today, too.

Not being picky, but I'm surprised with a squad as thin as ours that that was allowed, even with a fuller squad it seems very risky!
