Did they all go last season? It is recent though they went from £150 to £250?? I used to sponsor a shirt for many years but haven't for about 6-7 years.

Last year they changed it to the increased prices which also included an end of season meal where the sponsors were presented with the shirts by the players.

I will need to dig out a programme from last year to see if they were all taken up but from memory there was certainly a better take up than this year.

They have increased the players shirt sponsor from about £150 to £250 I believe? That's the reason for the lack of interest. I'd rather them price it right and have them all sponsored then not even half of them. Doesn't look good when looking at the programme.

Shirt sponsor has been £250 for 2 or 3 seasons

Thanks.

Do you know what percentage of shirts got sponsored the last 2 years compared to this?

The club will have to change its attitude fairly soon, because the more we slip down the table, the more the attendances will head towards the 5,000 mark, costing the club serious money.

What's the average home fans attendance so far, bet it's around 5,000

Biggest crowd of the season, approx 5600 with just under 500 from Millwall so circa 5000 would be correct

There's been almost the same number of home fans at all three games, Saturday being marginally the highest.

The home game against Millwall last season generated a crowd of 7,078.

First 3 home league games this season, gates totalled - 16,414

First 3 home league games (one of those was Barnsley) 2015/16 season, gates totalled - 21,516

First 3 home league games 2014/15 season, gates totalled - 17,720

It does suggest that crowds aren't that far down on previous years when you consider Barnsley were offered given some of the East Stand, however we did get 6000+ against Rochdale that season

I reckon a 10% reduction is about correct, could be a lot worse considering what has gone off. If we don't have too much of a disaster this season I can see the averge being approx 6100/6200 even with the missing local games

You'll upset one or two on here with that post. Some want home gates halved.

Have we direct comparisons between the home turnout for the first three games of this and last season to put an accurate figure on it?

What I do know, however, is that folk who've previously been ultra-loyal - to the point of occasionally coming into conflict with protesting Spireites - have now snubbed decades held season tickets.

Many other long standing fans have also decided to stay away and/or refrain from buying merchandise, Spire Lotto and 50/50 tickets.

Ashley Carson himself admitted the Club have sold several hundred fewer season tickets.

Meanwhile sponsors have withdrawn support whilst reports from the lounges suggest they're poorly populated.

Why?

Well I'm sure it's a combination of several issues, not helped by bewildering pay-on-the-day charges, but in an attempt to 'nutshell' disillusionment I'd guess it's 'cos folk simply don't trust certain individuals running CFC.

The main reason why I'm not going is because of how the clubs being run and the sheer arrogance and attitude towards its customers and they can't even explain what is happening. Everything is a contradiction.

To get me back, the club would need to:

Explain the link/no link between the academy over the road and the club, in an official statement.
Explain why we lost over a million quid in our most successful season and what's happened to all the income from sales, where has it gone? What have we spent it on?
Be transparent about the clubs dealings (as I have lost all faith in the operations and the ability to operate successfully at a profit).
Get rid of the ridiculous pay-on-the-day charges and the additional quid online.

Obviously this won't happen so I'll continue my boycott.

It's a shame really isn't it, we were on the verge of a breakthrough.

Personally, I'll pick and choose, I'll also split my football budget between Town and some premier league and champions league games.

Well said.

I'd take an apology/explanation of the past 6-12 months shambles + dropping those ridiculous add-ons for match tickets.

The 2nd one no matter how small has really irked me, stinks or arrogance and contempt for fans and it totally unnecessary. I tweeted the Commercial Twitter account once the new guy had reactivated it. Surely this is something the club should look at first, a small change but a quick win to try to reengage fans. They should be doing all they can to get people through the turnstiles not giving people more reason to not bother. Telling me how good the pies are or how close the M1 the ground is won't do it!!

Regarding the link between CFC and PPP.

Both Turner and Carson have denied a single penny of Club money subsidising the development school, just as we've repeatedly been told the two are separate.

However there've been so many contradictions, so much misinformation from those involved I can't believe a word they say. Especially as the only proof lays buried in accounts they know we'll never see.

Meanwhile Sutcliffe continues to strut around the stadium like some cock pigeon (I'd say bantam but...), continues to use the CFC brand, continues to enjoy double page spreads in the matchday programme (does PPP pay for that?), continues to use the ground for games (ditto) and we've all witnessed the catalogue of promotional images shot inside and around the Proact.

It's an issue of trust. Unfortunately a growing number of punters have zero for those in focus.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people
