nothing says "we're desperate to sell" more leaving your best player on the bench for fear of him getting injured (a la Mansield/Clucas).

We're not "desperate to sell" so I fully expect him to play (unless a deal is agreed before kick off).

From what I hear, the club would prefer to sell at the right price before deadline day; but the right price is being missed by a mile at the moment, and it could just be that Gboly is still with us till at least January.

Brentford have had an approach for Chesterfield winger Gboly Ariyibi rejected by the League One club.(westlondon sport)

Had a few bids in for Gboly. 4 from the championship and Brentford was over half a million.

Turned all of them down.

He will end up going next week for about 750k - A lot may depend on his performance tomorrow, should he play.

I think 'Bob's Board' members ought to pat themselves on the back, as were it not for the focus they've brought to various issues allied to the legitimate protests of fans I can't help thinking Ariyibi would've been off by now.
