We should use this Saturday to get the message across to fans who might not be aware of whats going off with this whole charade from the FA.

I can see some fans hoodwinked into thinking we will be facing Wolverhampton Wanderers first 11.

I keep seeing the FA blamed for this, when the 'fault' lies solely at the FL's (EFL) door.

to my knowledge, the FA have little/nothing to do with this.

True and it was voted upon by each club and passed. (Including voted for by Town)

Wow people get on their high horses slagging off those who choose not to go because Evans is playing (a moral choice)
Yet some moan at those who choose to go to this game - some people eh?!

If people want to pay £11 for this game, and see it as value for money they can crack on.

On the other hand the FA were pushing for U21 sides inclusion in league pyramid. This is just testing the water.

Best thing (which will happen) is FL clubs slaughter the opposition on the pitch (which will happen) and the idea will soon be dropped

Given the ticket sales it seems not. Have a hundred gone?

Surely you can give up one game against an under 23 side at over inflated prices as a way of protesting against a truly awful decision in the first place?

I could but why should I. I don't agree with the format of the competition but I like watching the football. I'd rather have a positive in my life (pleasure from the football) than a negative.

I don't agree with half the things written on this board, perhaps I should boycott this too.

Why?

There are a number of squad players that could do with a game

I'd be pizzed of if they didn't and let's face it nobody voted to play Wolvesunder 21

I've not missed a home fixture in this competition since it started. Regardless of whether I agree with the format or not I'm not going to stop now. I really don't see why I have to justify my position on this. I fully understand why people aren't going but that's their decision not mine.

You don't need to justify anything. It would be nice if all fans stood together against this but you are well within your rights to go if you want

You can't be criticised for attending just as I shouldn't be criticised for taking my stance of not attending home games for now. Both sticking to our guns for different reasons

Each to their own. However attendance at sufficient levels at these games would give a potential green light to premier league b teams infiltrating the football league. Which, without being dramatic, would be the death knell for lower league football as we know, and love.
