Looking online it seems the club realise what's going on and are only opening the West Stand. W7 isn't even available of that limited number.

I expect an attendance of 400ish.

Would you predict a higher attendance if game was at molineux?

Overly pessimistic, there has been a sudden rush 74 tickets sold so far, that makes 22 sold today

Right OK...

This article from June would suggest that we initially opposed the plans, however it doesn't say EXACTLY whether we actually voted FOR or AGAINST it : http://www.chesterfi...ed-3141089.aspx

The article is however titled: Initial Opposition To Format Change Revealed < Depending on how you interpret it, initial would mean that feelings changed over time? With further "quotes" from CT later in the article about The Premier League supporting the the EFL massively, and that the feeling was that they should go with their suggestion for one season. Also the additional prize money, and the hope that bringing in more clubs will create more interest in the competition due to dropping attendances.

Does this suggest that we actually voted in favor of the changes? Can't say for certain, but it certainly leads you towards that train of thought.

Now CT's Swindon Programme notes - "In the coming weeks, we will take part in the revamped Football League Trophy, which is now named the Checkatrade Trophy and includes U21 teams from Premiership clubs and the Championship. To set the record straight, I voted against the inclusion of these teams on behalf of the club because the competition is about lower-league players and supporters having the chance to go to Wembley".

Of course in CT's programme notes, he's "Setting the record straight" < Surely that means we didn't vote in favor. Or did we? The article certainly seems to suggest so. Setting the record straight is a statement in itself, but what's that article all about then?

Sure CT said he/the club voted for it despite being initially against it

Not 100% sure but the efl usually sets a price for tickets. Everyone else seems to be charging £10 (without a booking fee) as are we

I'm very pleased town fans, and fans all over the country are treating this with the contempt it deserves

I see the ticket office is describing the ELF Trophy as a match again Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Trades Description Act? Surely the game should be advertised as Chesterfield v Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy. Small point but it does seem to matter in the interests of accuracy.

P.S. A a rider to my post. Will the big notice board by the wall next to the road that advertises the next game, also say Wolverhampton Wanderers? Should be interesting. I mean, I wouldn't want the club to get done for misleading the passing public, those who don't follow footy that closely but might fancy turning up to see Wolverhampton Wanderers in the mistaken belief they will see the first team.

I'd be letting season ticket holders in for free and try and make some money in the concourses to restrict losses on the night. What a pathetic forsight pricing a dog muck fixture at that.

I'd have rather they charged full price to effectively make it a behind closed doors game.

Have we found anyone yet who's going to admit to buying a ticket?

Blackpool v Cheltenham could be lower than our attendance looking at the fixtures. There are gonna be some real shockers.
