He can't spell merchandise? Hopefully as bad as it gets.

Well surely his first challenge is to attract sponsors for both the West and North stands.

Alongside re-populating lounges left comparatively empty, or so I'm told.

It will be challenge under the current regime, if CT goes his job will be made easier

His first job should be sorting a £1 entrance fee for the Wolves EFL game

I posted similar on another thread a week or so ago, but the new guy (with just over a years experience in football marketing) will need to:

Attract sponship for arguably the two most important stands at the ground

Fill the sponsorship boards around the pitch/inside the ground (replacing non-existent companies where necessary)

Repair the relationship with some current, long standing sponsors who feel neglected (including in the lounges on match days)

Tie up some of the current deals which I'm told are nothing more than gentlemans agreements

Reach out to the main customers of the club, the fans, and involve them in some events at the club

Push the existing planned events (I flabbergasted Jack Lester is coming soon and it's not sold out, even with the apathy many feel currently, then there is Norman Whitside later in the year, too).

Actively Instigate and promote offers for fans, whether it be ticket savings, food and drink deals or even expanding the range in the club shop.

Good luck, Richard!!

Indeed Simon.

He's going to be a very busy man and certainly has to hit the ground running.

I hope he proves to be the right man for the job and re-establishes a good relationship with everyone he has to deal with.

Little wonder Jack Lester's not sold out. I've not seen it advertised anywhere.
