remember, this is after parents were 'cajoled' in to buying compulsory Sondico kits last summer, that 'would last at least 2 years' as part of the 5 year agreement signed with Sondico.

I know a local parent, who has now had to buy the new compulsory kit bundle, despite buying the compulsory Sondico one earlier THIS YEAR otherwise her son's place on the scheme 'would be at risk'.

This taken from the PPP website goes some way to explaining the need for the kit bundles, as well as detailing other information for parents of students on the 9-16 age range:

http://cfcfds.co.uk/...venues/9-16s-2/

Interestingly, parents have until the 5th of every month to make the monthly payment, otherwise their child gets excluded for training until all monies owed are paid........

Ckeeky hard nosed feckers then. Time the club distanced itself from this can of worms.
God I hate this league.

Should we expect it to go tits up then.

Don't talk daft Dave...all debts will be settled before the end of July and they have a major new sponsor, yet to be revealed of course. And FORMER associate CT once said the DC is running AT GREAT PROFIT, so I can't foresee an issue, can you.?

Not sure if this one made it on to here yesterday evening\night :-

Graham Smyth ‏@GrahamSmyth
I'm told Chris Turner has resigned from the CFC Development School (PPP, legally separate from the club). Papers filed today #Spireites

Thought at first glance this was breaking news and he had resigned from the club

This isn't looking good for Sutcliffe.

As much as I believe that the guy is monumentally out of his depth and his position has become untenable, the continued support shown by DA & AC would suggest that our problems are much greater than one individual.

There must be a reason why someone with no knowledge / experience of running a business or professional qualifications to support his position was appointed the CEO of our football club. Likewise, there must be a reason for the continued support shown by his employers.

Why ever not?

Left to his own devices, he would now have full control.

I'd suggest it doesn't look good for the Development Centre itself!

The word from the club (unofficially) 6/8 weeks ago was that CT had resigned from the DC, yet checks at companies house suggested he'd only resigned from the International Academy only.

Maybe the whole issue has been investigated internally at the club hence the back dated resignation.

Would it be wrong to assume that following 'rafflegate' serious questions are finally being asked?

I bet this guy could tell DA a few stories. His CV must be very impressive......

Rochdale: League One club appoint Russ Green as new chief executive

Green stepped down as Hartlepool United's chief executive last month after nine years in the role.

"The ambition of this football club is to build the infrastructure to obtain Championship football," Green told the club's website.

I've a feeling that things could get very interesting at Hartlepool.

Question: Turner's resignation from PPP - why?

Yeah, I know, the answer's pretty obvious given the content of this and other threads, but my point is why now?

Haven't both Turner and his now erstwhile sidekick Sutcliffe repeatedly assured us everything's hunky-dory over the road (well, back in the days before the CEO became as conspicuous as James Higgins, of course)?

Weren't the queue of parents, employees and others allegedly owed money supposed to be paid off by the end of July?

Aren't we seeing a renewed relationship with the DT?

It seemed he'd ridden out the worst of the storm, so to speak, yet Turner's quit regardless.

Then going off at a tangent, who are all the lads in Town gear apparently staying at a Saltergate guesthouse?

The person telling me they've seen them outside on at least a couple of occasions wasn't able to distinguish if they were Mark Smith's lads of PPP, so does anyone know owt?

I guess it makes some sort of sense to have them all under one roof - and I bet the owner of that guesthouse must be rubbing their hands together!

I wander if the owner of the guesthouse has been paid yet if that's the case

It is certainly an interesting development and given Sutcliffe's position, I would be feeling extremely vulnerable and exposed, trying to second guess how this might play out for both parties.

Certainly the former non league player and alleged bankrupt Sutcliffe is a major denominator in many of the negatives surrounding CFC over recent times.

Isolating, perhaps even abandoning him could be a seen as an attempt by 'The Powers That Be' in building bridges with the Town fanbase.

I'd be interested to learn what his side of the story might be if that turns out to be the case...

For an individual who is so opinionated and usually has plenty to say, I am quite enjoying his extended silence.

He could always sign up on here and defend the fully supported allegations about his conduct.

I understand that he has a rule that parents of the PPP must submit matchday complaints by email so he's no technophobe

Not sure what it signifies but the PPP website has been taken down, "back online soon!" no mention as to why on PPP twitter feed, odd timing at the start of the new season
