Well I am told a written warning is on it's way - will Ashley publish the recipient's name.

What a joke, will it be written with a brush to put it under the carpet

Didn't have enough time to go into full background on TALKSPORT but Radio Yorkshire interview going out in drive time will be more fulsome. Unless they cut it down.

Not working this week but colleagues are covering latest on rafflegate.

Mention the other stuff - PPP, Ernie Moss, Banning the DT etc. Think it's about time this sort of info got out too.

For those fans who don't do Twitter, a few of Graham's Tweets from earlier today:

Graham Smyth ‏@GrahamSmyth 6h6 hours ago
A background to why this was already the summer of discontent for Chesterfield fans, before #rafflegate

http://www.derbyshir...ntent-1-7987509

-------------------------------
Graham Smyth ‏@GrahamSmyth
Should be noted that it has been vigilance of #Spireites fans driving major stories (PPP mess, Ernie Moss cash issue, #rafflegate)

-------------------------------
Graham Smyth ‏@GrahamSmyth
And I don't think anyone needs to ask why they're so vigilant. Or why they pursue the truth so vigorously #Spireites

He will almost certainly have had to sign a confidentiality clause

Are they worth the paper they're written on?

No idea pal, not my area of expertise, but if he's taken something in return for it, probably.

What could they do if he came out and said 'Turner knew about it'? Sue him? It'd be a bit pointless.

its a settlement agreement and if you breach it they are legally entitled to their settlement back. And yes they can threaten to take you to court. given you havent got a job or source of income then you dont really want to be wasting your time on legal problems rather than getting a job....

That sounds like a legal form of blackmail. He may not have been the main guy yet he's been made redundant and only given money if he keeps shtum on what he knows.

Can I ask why Radio Yorkshire are interested when it's not out patch, unless like Talksport they are covering other items such as this.
