It occurs to me there's at least one person who might be celebrating the 'Ernie' and 'Rafflegate' scandals.

It's taken attention away from Sutcliffe's PPP.

Anyway, given tomorrow is the last day of July and we were told all money would be re-paid by that point, has it actually happened?

you joke, but Springwell School at Staveley are trying to force parents to only buy uniform from the school, rather than cheaper 'generic' clothing from places like Tesco etc.

http://www.derbyshir...-much-1-8007699

Nowt new.

Outwood Academy (Newbold Community to us normal thinking folk) has had a strict policy for the last few years now. Only uniform with the Outwood logo on, this includes trousers, PE kit etc is acceptable. Can only be bought through the school on online via Trutex Direct.

Load of hogwash, but the prices aren't that bad compared to the Springwell ones.

Not sure what's happened with previous years arrangement with Staveley MW & Clay Cross Town but the ppp development side under 21's will be playing home games at the USA 3g Arena in Eastwood, which is of course Notts.

I suppose the club will argue this is distancing themselves from the questionable enterprise....

Edit : under 19's playing there too

It's presumed the under 21s is the international business the under 19's the other

Staveley have done extensive pitch work during the summer and towards the end of last season in doubt to continue the relationship with the PPP to keep playing at Inkersall Road.

There was some discussion with regards to the CFC Youth Team featuring at Inkersall Road in the North Midlands U21 league as well as the PPP but Staveley couldn't accommodate an extra team and that's fair enough, they have their own teams.

If anyone wants to feel like they are part of the PPP/DC set up, there is several of the Sondico "cfc-badged" training tops for sale on eBay.

Given the cost new, I'm sure they'll fetch decent money!

It would appear that he (or someone using his company name) is the seller on eBay.

Can he reproduce and sell the club badge, without permission?

Good point, he's undermining our own club shop sales !

Probably feels aggrieved after entering what LS informed us was a five year deal about 18 months ago if memory serves.
