I've never heard anything so embarrassing for a professional club

A bit like buying school uniform especially for a top public school.

Advice always given by Academies- never NEVER go to a pro club link which charges it's players for training kit!
£265 for kit?? OMG

I'm actually speechless

There's one of the scholars that paid £250 for Sondico kit LAST year/season and still hasn't received a refund OR the kit. Absolute disgrace.

April 7th, 2015. Liam says:

- it's going to be great for parents in terms of affordability
- it's affordable and they'll get their kits in a timely fashion

*** Edited my own quote

But former non-league foootballer Liam said parents would get their kit in a timely fashion. He wouldn't lie to parents, would he?

you joke, but Springwell School at Staveley are trying to force parents to only buy uniform from the school, rather than cheaper 'generic' clothing from places like Tesco etc.

Don't worry he'll be granted an extra year on his contract to compensate or if he prefers a squad number

I feel a bit sorry for Liam. He's a really nice bloke and in my opinion, he is a victim and pawn of the PPP situation. He may not turn out to be first team material but his dad has paid for him to be given the opportunity and he's cost CFC nowt. If he ends up somewhere as a semi-pro then his dad might consider it money well spent.

I have no doubt though that the whole deal was cynically set up to promote PPP. Thankfully as events turned out, he's not been used for publicity.

I don't feel sorry for him. If he's stupid enough to think he can have a professional career bought for him then he's an idiot.

The school I work at pay for two sets of uniform for every kid in the school because it is such a deprived area.
