So what's apparently happening with parents and having to buy more kit is yet further rubbish and spin from the DC. Christ why do we allow folk like this idiot to be associated with the club.

One parent, despite buying a sondico kit just a few weeks ago has indeed been told they need the new kit in order to participate with the PPP.
A similar deal happened from change of 2015-2016 season, many parents that had children signed into the PPP had just received Puma kit purchased months before but took months to arrive, then LS sent an email shortly after, telling them they had to buy new sondico kit, gave parents a deadline too. It's kids training for gods sake they don't need a change of kit every year. Anyone would think they had something to gain from doing it.....

Good question, Dave.

As for the Chairman not allowing enquiries relating to PPP, I'm pretty sure Turner himself shifted position a short while ago and admitted they're associated with CFC, thereby legitimising exploration of that relationship. What's more when an enterprise peddles the Club name and brand to the extent PPP does they surely become fair game. And of course until we've credible proof fans' money isn't finding it's way over the road I believe they've every right to press for the facts.

But hey, it wouldn't surprise me if we simply hear 'Unless you've nine million to buy the Club...' style dismissals whenever the truth gets a little too uncomfortable to admit.

I went window shopping in Stockholm city centre earlier, specifically for official Sweden kit.

Looking at the "compulsory bundle" listed by FBT, I found everything they had (e.g. 2x shirts, 2x shorts, etc.) and I still managed to undercut the price given on their website.

2 important things to accompany my find:

- All gear is made by Adidas
- All prices are subject to Sweden's 25% VAT, as well having a higher than 'normal' price in comparison with other countries.

EDIT: Now that's retail price on merchandise from a sports shop, and not subject to any discount that clubs might get for buying a team kit or squad training kits in bulk. Wholesale prices are a damn sight cheaper than these.

I wonder what rate of commission/profit is being made, per bundle?

You mean companies sponsor the Academy or players have to seek out their own sponsors?

No the players are given kit..but each player has to get sponsorship for each piece of kit to a certain value which the club gets.So dads aunties etc pay for the kit.

I paid for my lads kit when he joined in October, no one mentioned I had to get sponsors for it ?
This years new kit is coming in about a month not sure of cost yet
