As for Rai - believe he activated a second year option thanks to his reaching a set number of appearances.

Good of the club to tell us.

if only there was a local, reputable weekly publication such announcements could be made in.....

wow "pictures shot from a property overlooking the training pitch with permission of the homeowner"

Are people really that desperate for a few £?

I have heard that we had security at the training ground to stop photographers going. In my opinion it would have been better to have held an open to the press training session, get it over and done with.

The interest won't wane in him until (should it happen) he's found innocent in the court case. Then he'll make the news (won't be front page) and it'll all die down.

No it won't, as at that point, we will be having all the speculation about where he's going in the January transfer window for 50-100k

We also had security at the Proact today asking anyone entering what their business was i.e. collecting a season ticket was ok, noting photographers and camera men were kept to the pavement side of the wall

Perhaps it wasn't security and it was the start of an audit

So the club that is haemorrhaging cash is now paying people to ask them about their business? Unbelievable.

I agree.

I note the Daily Mirror photographs were described as being taken from someone's garden with permission.

Ched will be found not guilty, there will be no case to answer so people will not know what to talk about. The only headlines will be about Ched being the League's top scorer

Ched looks in great shape in those photos.

His 4 year hiatus doesn't concern me in the slightest. He'll be scoring for fun!

Hmmm, I guess we will see. I look in good shape but I haven't kicked a ball in over 12 weeks (ACL Sprain :o ). I guess my touch right now would be similar to that of an elephant. In fairness even fully fit my touch is like a baby elephant anyway but I'm sure you get my point. See how he looks in the friendlies.

Ha Ha! I wouldn't play for them anyway! Obviously you are right but my point is, 4 years is a very long time to be out of the professional game and just because he looks in good nick doesn't mean a thing.

he has been playing football though, albeit not professionally but there shouldn't be any issues with his tough/control etc.

For me, the biggest obstacle he has to overcome will be mental.

Was in the best form of his life pre- first trial, arguably less pressure this time round

Fixed....as Hilly mentions its one thing looking fit etc to run arouund, its going to be another thing completely playing to the standard he was at. Its a long time since he kicked a ball competitively and thats going to take some getting into. I dont play football to any sort of level but even i can tell the difference the first time i play after a break of a few months.
