It's about the fans and community.
And despite everything they have done to destroy that (Developmemt centre, Evans, Ant the Groundsman and Ernie) they won't be allowed to.
Well done Spireitenag

You're too modest mate. Well done. I've added a donation. Hope it keeps climbing.

Turner. You are a disgrace, Ernie Moss is more than just a name of an ex player of your work. He's a legend of our club. Do the right thing and waiver this cost so ALL monies raised can go to two well deserved charities.
For Christ sake man your taking money away from a charity......whats next? Are you gonna want a cut of the various bucket collections through the season?
Disgraceful.
Well said x

We will invite the Derbyshire Times to .cover this presentation.
I will then invite CFC to do the decent thing and match the total sum collected as a gesture of goodwill to Ernie and his family.
Regards Nigel.

Sounds like a great photo opportunity to me. Although if the DT are doing it you'll have to stand on the road outside.

And if they decline the opportunity get intouch with the local tv & the national papers. Tell them about how a professional football club charge charities and how the supporters have paid the bill.
Will go down well don't you think?

I like and agree to the idea given here but think it should stop at the presentation.
I don't think the club should be contacted at all about the raised money.
I think that's taking it too far.
Just a thought.

When you say ask CFC to match the total sum raised, I'm assuming that you are suggesting an additional contribution from the club over and above the net gate receipts from the game?

I just don't know what their response will be.
However I do think there will come a time when someone within the club eschelon might think that a bit of good PR could be beneficial to them.
