For f---s sake we've just passed £2000 in less than six hours.

This just shows the love we have for our number 8 Ernie the legend.

I find this really truly humbling and it has really surpassed all of my expectations.

I'm sat here sipping a decent malt whisky and crying my eyes out.

However this page has to run for 30 days and I'm pleading with all of our superbly wonderful fans to give more.

At the end of this appeal I will turn over every single penny raised via the Derbyshire Times and ask CFC to match it.

I can't even begin to find words to thank you all,I'm totally gobsmacked.

This is a disgraceful episode in our clubs history. Lies from the CEO about his enterprise over the road, signing a toe rag like Evans, and now this - taking money from a charity that is "fronted" by a spireites legend and thoroughly decent man.
I bought some boots as a kid from moss and Miller, and ernie asked how much I had, I told him and he let me have a pair and gave me couple of quid off because I didn't have enough money.
And they act like this. Dave Allen, Ashley Carson and Chris Turner need to to f@ck off back to Sheffield.
They are disgusting individuals

The final donation pre midnight that took us past the £2,000 target was for £150 and was an anonymous.

May I thank you Sir or Madam for your kindness,it really is truly appreciated.

I also thank every single person that has so far made a donation,be it large or small.

This Just Giving page has to run for 30 days and although the initial target has already been passed I will continue to appeal for more donations and guarantee that every single penny will be passed on to

the Moss family to carry on the good work.

I really am left completely speechless for what we Spireites have achieved in just six hours.

My most humble respect to all fellow Spireites Nigel.

Talk about contrasting emotions. A feat like this makes everyone feel so proud to be a spireite, but then we have to realise why this even happened in the first place because of how low through the gutter the club is getting dragged.

The DT should go to town on this (forgive the pun). Get the word out that whilst the club might have shed its family and community friendly skin, the fans definitely have not. Though as per, the lot at the top probably won't bat an eyelid at these developments.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!
