Bless you that is so kind but the club need to step up to the mark!!!!
The just giving page will give directly to Dementia UK but we need our match money splitting with the other amazing charity...Once Upon A Smile.
We are overwhelmed with your idea of paying stewards bill but the fans have done enough....this is for club to sort out.

I've also tweeted Toby Perkins asking if he can help! He's been talking to the club over the Cash Crisis over the Road that Chris Turner runs. Contact him it may help!

Mosschops

Have you read the statement from the club on the website and if so can you clarify whether that it's a true reflection of events???

Yes I have read the statement.
Yes we were told 1 member of staff is away but the date of her return is changed every time we manage to speak to someone at CFC.
I find it hard to believe only ONE person out of all the staff has access to the information.
The figures should be available at the click of a button.
As a family we are grateful we were allowed to stage the game at CFC but after being asked over & over again how much was raised the DT rang Nikki to confirm the situation.
I know this matter will get sorted but like ive said earlier we shouldnt have to beg for money that was raised on the day by the FANS.
We knew there would be a fee for stewarding but NEVER expected or agreed it to be £2000!!!!!
Lets hope this matter gets sorted asap xx

Thankfully the true fans of Ernie and CFC are showing their support and generosity to this worthy cause with £2,100 already raised in just a few hours on the Just Giving Crowd Funding page.

Please all feel free and continue to donate whilst this page runs for the next 29 days.

Every single penny will then be promptly handed over to the Moss family as CFC should have done.

Regards Nigel.

The stewarding cost of course having nothing to do with a member of staff, as stated in the club statement "a set number of stewards were required to be in attendance" meaning they could have told you the cost at the start. You wouldn't think to ask assuming it to be cost price

Well done Nigel for sorting this, I am very moved by the generosity of town fans.

As always CFC fans stand up and be counted and come together in times of need.

One additional stand is probably required very soon to sort out the root cause of some problems at the club.

To be fair, if DA has had a bad year, he might be down to his last 75 million. Perhaps we should all take this into account.

After this reaction from the fans we would like to think the club will waiver it or at least reduce it.
Will let you all know any updates at every stage & lets hope the club follow your lead xx

The club should never have charged you at all in the first place. Surely for their part for your cause, after having agreed to put on the game at the Proact they would have funded the game as part of the clubs donation to the charity. Christ, what's a week's pay of Ched's wages for Christ sake??

The Derbyshire Times could have a field day with this information and activity!

Shows what a great set of fans we have at CFC, whilst again painting a poor picture of the Club's hierarchy!

Just donated. Great stuff by everybody and a reminder why we all love the club as we do.

We were here before this board and will be around long after, remember that!

Well done the fans, again!

Knowing the track record of this lot, they will probably increase it by the amount donated on Just Giving.........it's time they went!
