I'm picking up on the narrower point you made that he may be found guilty again because the new evidence is inadmissible. This argument has been had with the court of appeal deciding it is admissable and a jury will make their decision on it and the original evidence.

According to the transcript she wasn't particulary drunk, it wasn't outside a kebab shop it was inside and she insisted on going with Mcdonald and getting in the taxi with him

If its a 1 yr deal surely he's contracted till next june..

Because he has an option for another year, which one would assume is appearance/goal scoring/court case dependant and will be triggered well before January.
