It's a fair comment, and my guess would be that the CCTV and number of consistent witness stories suggests that there was consent viewed by others. There's no CCTV of Evans and no direct witnesses, only a porter outside the room.

What about his brother filming it through the window? Is this the evidence that is now available?

Doesn't seem likely- why would his brother wait 4yrs and his brother being in prison for 2.5 of those to present it? If he hadn't deleted the video he would have been forced to show it to the court or face a charge (possibly obstruction of justice or similar), and if he'd sent it on to others the police would have been well within their rights to take contact history and find out who he sent it to.

The video is mentioned in the trial description and doesn't seem to have been used by the prosecution or defence, but then not all details are on it. It could well be that by not fully addressing the video gives a technicality for the conviction to remain dropped, but whether it would be allowed as new evidence when it has been addressed to some degree I just don't know.

Fairly sure I read the phone video didn't show anything of value

It showed his bare ass on top of a lifeless looking woman.

Question is why a man would want a video of his own brother having sex? Very normal behaviour

Why do you keep making things up ?

He clearly has an agenda `that's got nothing to do with the actual case.Maybe it's envy that he never got to be a pro footballer just a glorified sponge and bucket man.

Yes you are, constantly, stating what the phone film showed is one, that said victim was lifeless being another that's just in one sentence, if I could be bothered to write a list it would be a long one.

I'm not defending him, his actions on the night left a lot to be desired but I do believe in civil liberties and this case has importance well beyond Evans behaviour

Defending the indefensible.
Try defending someone who deserves it.
Just because he will pull on a Town shirt does not a hero make.

He's toxic-trust me

Nobody deserves being convicted for a crime not committed.

Try substanting your allegations with facts, it seems very clear you can't

I'll carry on thank you very much.
It's called an opinion and its allowable to have one (at least it was under the EU;-)

I simply don't think that scum like Evans should be in the Club we love.
It's the icing on the cake after all the mess that's been happening in the last few months (Development Centre, bonus, Ernies day) etc.

Just received the following from the club :

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to not offer refunds for season tickets.

It has been deemed that this would be setting a precedent when players who certain fans do not approve of are signed in the future.

Kind regards

Karen Wood
Ticket Office Manager & Sales

Ye gods, who else are we planning to sign !
"Its much more important than that !"
