All this Ched Evans 'Scum' business is going a little overboard.

Everyone will have their own opinions on the matter (signing)....to be honest, I would rather NOT have signed him right now.......mainly because, we all know, that we are going to be despised by all and sundry, rapist songs and all the crap that any away fans can think of..........BUT, as stated by many, at this present time, he is NOT GUILTY of ANYTHING, so is NOT a Rapist.

He cheated on his wife, yes, if this is Scum in your eyes, then so be it....it's not in mine and many others.

Would I be happy to cheer Ched on?..............AFTER his new hearing, if he is aquitted, then YES.......right now I would probably politely applaud any goal he scored or maybe I would'nt.

The problem with Ched is, even if he is found NOT GUILTY, he will still be a tarnished player and open to abuse and ridicule, even though it would be wrong.

As I assume you meant acquitted and inadmissible.

The case won't be decided on a technicality as the conviction has been quashed and a re-trial has been ordered on the basis of new and admissible evidence, not another chance to argue procedures weren't correctly followed

Yes I did B****Y iPad. I thought it was a combination of some new evidence, ie statements from other people and the argument that the police didn't follow up some cctv footage that wasn't supplied in court and the judges guidance to the jury in his summary.

He got some perfectly warranted criticism about his lack of footballing skills. The truth of the matter is he got a far easier ride than he could have done as he tried hard and looked so happy when he scored.
