Signing Evans is attention seeking by DA.

Not wanting to associate with the Club is a personal choice based on morals I guess- not attention seeking.

See what is happening to everyone - bickering everywhere -all down to signing scum like Evans.
Not the boards finest hour.....

I disagree. This is about a manager who wanted to sign a player and the board backed him. The same happened last summer, when the manager at the time appeared hell-bent on implementing a recruitment policy that was never going to suit the club and look how that turned out.

Having spoken to Nikki within the last hour I can correct any mis-leading comments.

Nikki has stated that she won't be taking her daughter to the Proact but will continue to take Ernie to the games.

People should not judge anyone without knowing the correct facts

Nikki "is a Spireite through and through" her words

Not the boards finest hour.....

The bikering is down to people like you, calling innocent people scum. That word should be saved for mansfield fans.
I can understand why people are not happy about the signing, but goin as far as saying they will never go to a game while he's here is a bit silly. What happens if he is found innocent, and scores 30+ goals for us next season, whilst winning us promotion, we sell him on, but were in the championship.... Will all these 'fans' come back out the wood work, even tho a 'rapist' got us there

What happens if he is found guilty?

People make their own choices, if they feel compiled not to attend whilst on trial for a serious crime then so be it, if he is found innocent then they may have no problem in coming again. If he is found guilty then they will have no problem about coming again and vice versa with those that choose to go.

No right or wrong.

I'm personally not bothering going again whilst Chris Turner is here, far more relevant to the survival and future of the club than some player using the club as a potential stepping stone back to his previous levels.

It's a customer driven sport.
They can't moan about falling attendances if they don't deliver the goods.
Sign a player that will make a son or daughter go "wow I want to go and see him play"- like I was with Steve Norris and Dave Waller.

Ebanks-Blake and Evans probably not so much I guess?

Can you honestly say you were excited about us signing a striker from Halifax and one from Shrewsbury who was beleived to be crocked?

Steve Norris I was definitely!
What's sad is that I recently found wedged in a book the newspaper cutting of the announcement we had signed him!

Great finisher Steve Norris but he made seb look like a hard worker how little he tracked back , hence why Duncan dropped him .

I have heard that Rubicon are not sponsoring this year neither. Not saying its anything to do with Chedgate, but it could mean we are looking for two new major sponsors at a time of all this disquiet.

Is Rubicon the print company that's had a few name changes due to going into receivership in other guises?

Ok that's not the impression I was given by someone who spoken to Nikki this morning or thats on facebook and the issue with taking Ernie is nothing to do with Ched Evans.

Yes, owned by once director Dean Newman, programme printer and sponsor of the North stand.

Marcia, there is nothing on Nikki's Facebook about not taking Ernie
The larger issue will come out soon if the correct information is not supplied by the club. I am disgusted in the way Nikki & Sarah have been dealt with and I will personally be approaching the club and the board regarding things that I choose not to discuss on here. Nikki was more concerned with being banned from the club. I too have solicitors if need be.

Officially, and publically the whole family were over the moon with the charity day, however, I'd hazard a total guess that's probably not the truth.

Might be wrong through.

Didn't the club charge Ernie's family about 2 grand for the whole fundraising day?
