There's been talk in various threads about people not going again to watch town because of the recent signing of ched Evans.
A lot of it will be the initial reaction to the signing but assume some people really mean it and it is a deeply held view that they will never go again.
I was just wondering numbers wise how big of aproblem this is at this moment in time and people who are not going to go again by Adding their name to this thread could show the club the consequences of signing Ched.

Playing devils advocate (and in no way condoning what he stands trial of doing):

We have signed players who've done much worse (and given seemingly 'hero' status to, not to mention still employ)

Absolutely, Sammy. Ab-so-freakin-lutely. I find it insulting that some posters think that by not losing your nut in rage, you are somehow suggesting that the crime in question is not one of the most deplorable things a human can do to another human. It is.

His conviction was quashed. Had it not been, I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.

Never's an awfully long time. Pretty sure I'll not be going next season.

Please note though, this isn't some feminist boycott or a political statement or anything like that.

If I don't go it's because I no longer *want* to, I'm not enjoying it. I was in 2 minds as to whether to renew at all. I'll probably hang on to my season ticket as it's a good seat (maybe I'll send a Turniþ instead of me).

Why?
Do you think we need more defenders or something?

I won't be going again for a far more serious reason than Evans, Turner and Co.

Evans is currently in a position of still being on trial.

What happens if he is found guilty?

The club are in the ****, up the creek without a paddle and would have ruined its reputation, not that it has much of one left anyway.

What happens if he is found innocent?

The club potentially have a good player and may make some money.

A massive risk that could go either way.

I will decide nearer the preseason games , dont have a season ticket due to working some weekends ,

as i said on the other thread my initial feeling is i would find it uncomfortable to watch him in a town shirt untill after the re trial ,

if he is found not guilty after the re trial fair enough but still not happy with the clubs decision to sign him .

We sign him on a year's contract and take all the crap and **** that involves after year up the blunts buy him for peanuts. That's what's it's all about . Don't want him in a blue shirt won't be watching town again till he's gone. Thought all clubs would stick together regarding this guy but obviously not.
