exactly ^ his initial conviction was more than a little dubious and the fact he's been granted a retrial suggests there is just cause, a judge wouldn't grant that for nothing, as a football signing he's a no brainer, better than Novak and still a good age!

But not until after the court case where it will be one way or the other, until then his mind will not be on football but trying to clear his name, until such time he should focus his efforts on that. I have said it before and I will say it again he has not played professional football for over 4 years despite what he has or has not done and will not be the same player as he was before being banged up, we should not have touched him with a 10'1" pole. With everything else that is currently wrong with the club this is the final straw and I am glad I couldn't afford a season ticket.

who are you to tell him what he should focus on? Getting back on a football field is probably all he has been focussed on... and he has a lot to prove!

His conviction was quashed because of new evidence that would've helped his defense. The proper thing to do is
reserve judgment until a new verdict is reached.

I want to cry. I am staggered. This isn't an overreaction either, this is the reaction of someone who genuinely cares about the role models that the kids in the family stand see pulling on our shirt. Imagine having to explain to my four year old daughter what a rapist is or even an Alleged rapist is should I decide to take her.

No wonder they banned the Derbyshire times. Everything is coming together.

So with his retrial coming up in October, that's October not during the closed season, that his mind will not be split between his retrial and playing football? righto! Why don't you read why I put what I put rather than jumping on it half way through.

I think you underestimate the circus & distraction that will follow, something which the club can ill afford to get involved in.
