Apparently we only had five offering to play the most recent scheduled fixture. I think one or two might be bolstering Holmewood to help them out.

I enjoyed the midweek league and even ran our side for quite a while but eventually it just got harder and harder with getting folk to play as we all got a bit older etc. Folk struggled to spare the time and things like that so we had to jack it in eventually. Glad to see its still going but not sure if many others that those already playing will look to join in the future.

We are in Div 2, only reintroduced our midweek side this year.

This one ain't a T20 though so demand will be lower (and the forecast a bit ropy).
I'll get mine online later and if it's rained off I can presumably use the ticket for another game.

I hope Aamir gets hammered by the crowd today if they're fielding. Booed on, booed when announced & running in and booming 'no ball' calls from all four sides.

I suspect at many other grounds around the country he would be....he might get away lightly at Lords. I dont buy the he was young and influenced by his elder team mates stuff, he'd been around international cricket for a while by then.

Saw a couple of his overs and did ok to be honest. Once one of him or Roland-Jones were due to play it was probably going to be him after he got a call up earlier in the summer but missed out.
