Or get away with telling lies.

You see what's happening guys, Turner by imposing the ban has now involved the club as the banning party. When in fact acting to reduce the bad publicity of his self manifesting problems the club appears to outsides to be the banning party.

Great lengths taken in the article to present the facts correctly but do you think that will stop the bad vibes for our club.

Can't seeing the ban being a decision made solely by CT. I am sure DA would have given him the go ahead, or told him to do it.

Turner has done a great job of making a problem even bigger.

Streisand effect.

If the two entities are entirely separate, then why is the "Club" banning the DT for reporting on something that doesn't concern them? Or does it?

Like I said elsewhere when someone said LS has the gift of the gab, you can bluster all you want, the facts will always come to the fore, and the facts for LS, the DC and CT are very daming indeed.

I'm thinking that CT will have had the nod from DA on this.

The club (or those running it) are fully aware of the damage the PPP could/is doing to the clubs reputation and presumably see this as them distancing themselves from both the DT and the PPP.

The club feel the DT are responding to a "hidden agenda" and feel that currently the DT need them more than they need the DT.

Dangerous games to be playing, unless you're completely whiter than white.

It's a big step that's been taken and one will backfire in the long run I'm certain. But I doubt CT will have done it without knowing he needs the support of Allen who likely agreed immediately.

Sadly a large number of residents in certain parts of North East Derbyshire see themselves as Deedahs or Yorkshire men.

On Saturday afternoon me and a few friends from Barlow went to Dronfield to watch the play off final.

The pubs we went in were absolutely packed with Wednesday fans.

The Jolly Farmer also had a coachload go down to the game.

A good few in Barlow watch Sheffield clubs and Yorkshire cricket.

Football is one thing. Cricket is another.

If it's the Derbyshire Times then it should act as such.

My guess it's some automated bot rather than an editorial choice anyway.

I agree with you.

It should stick to what it is known for and there is a clue in the title.
