Can anyone with contact to the DC advise on what a parent has just told me.

Her son is at the DC (and has confirmed he had to go to a college in Oxford last week to complete an exam) and he has been told this morning that "the education side" is moving to Bradford.

I don't claim to know or understand the course details or any of the logistics behind it.

Anyone care to decipher?

Doesn't Sutcliffe originate from the Bradford area?

Isn't that where he pursued his non league football career?

And I guess he'd feel further away from prying eyes back there.

Either way I'm led to believe any association between his and Turner's enterprise and Virtual Learning UK may be ending in the not too distant future.

Perhaps the statement from director Simon Abercombie referred to in the DT article will say as much, I dunno.

Of course this is merely a rumour from a third party so could support what you've heard or be totally mistaken.


On the issue of the Chesterfield Post interviews, a friend at the Proact has claimed that Karen Johnson was specifically told any reference to events over the road or questions thereof would result in her joining the DT on the banned list.

Now it's very easy for us to sit behind our computers insisting she should've done this, that or the other, however this is her livelihood we're talking about so maybe she deserves a degree of sympathy rather than criticism.

Indeed if this story is in any way true - and let me state loud and clear it's just gossip at this point - surely it's those seeking to silence the truth that should be condemned instead.
