Just a question, definitely not an accusation, but does the CEO gain any financial remuneration from transfer fees ?

Be interesting to find out?

I wonder how many paying customers Turnipe will lose if he stays in the job much longer. Has the Chairman taken leave of his senses!!

Already got my season tickets but untill Turner is relieved of his duties or falls on his sword I will not spend one more penny on anything related to CFC,get him gone NOW.

Well that's an utterly ludicrous and counter-productive turn of events! Made me smile before when LS was claiming to have been misquoted when the only source of information was his own written statements.

Well done DT. You have done what needed doing and, like the rest of us, will be here once normality is resumed.

More T-shirts to be printed: "Je suis DT".

Edit: thinking about it, I don't reckon the DT has lost too much by this turn of events. It seems that, up until now, they were simply either fobbed off, ignored or given spin. What truly hurts a news outlet is to be deprived of the "oxygen of information" (as Ferguson tried with the BBC), but I don't think the DT will miss the limited "facts" that the club has been prepared to disseminate.

I think the last member of the press to be banned by the club was Fiona Firth during the infamous 2000/01 season.

Hang on, why are they banned from the club if the PPP is separate? Maybe I'm missing something.
Here we go again!

Unbelievable arrogance and naivety.

Everything printed has been down to the two directors of the company.

The've blamed members of this forum, they've blamed scholars parents, they've blamed former members of staff.

None of that has fooled anyone !

So now let's blame the Derbyshire Times !

My suggestion : Take a long hard look at yourselves, come out with an honest assessment that you're the only two people actually culpable in this whole shoddy affair.

The only losers at the moment are the scholars and their parents and the former members of staff.

If you were the head of content at JP, what would you be telling your journalists now, ease off or leave no stone unturned?

A monumental own goal.

If vegetable is still here. For the 1st game of the season all the fans need to wave a Derbyshire times above their head, singing, " We all agree the Derbyshire Times is spot on " ( to the tune of we all agree chesterfield are magic lol ) This would gain some un needed media attention an force someones hand into doing something about it.............. Maybe ?

Presumably, any such gentlemans agreements between the DT and the Club are now irrelevant and the DT can report whatever the want/feel is appropriate.

Given the access to social media, and the nature of the DT circulation and publication cycle, the amount of people who buy it just for the football coverage will be minimal I'd have thought.

I think the club needs the DT far more than the DT need the club.

Even by the root vegetables standards, this is an incredibly stupid thing to do. He`s given them the green light to dig for dirt and print the worst. Is he really that thick?

Sometimes things start to develop a momentum if their own and no matter how much you try, you can no longer influence events.

A new hope.

Given last season being unable to watch home games (in an official capacity at least) would be a blessing in disguise.
