Ashley said publicly a long time ago that DA had no longer got any interests in SW.

He has not but im sure there was a promotion clause in his shares..for how long im not sure

It's very likely that she has to submit her questions to the CFC rottweiler in advance.

CT said that he hopes Hull don't get promoted. What a strange comment. What can he mean? My only suggestion is that Wednesday will give us a player if they get promoted.

Yet he states we're due more from Hull from the Clucas deal should they go up.

What's he on about?

Fluffy and inoffensive, I quite see why Turnirp would choose her to give his first interview in ages. She is not fit for purpose and would be better of organising a tea party for CT and LS in aid of CFC PPP

I agree. How is not ever asking any searching questions as a journalist being professional.

Think it is called engaging mouth before brain. It'll take his brain days to catch up.

"Then Dean (Saunders) came and he wasn't really accepted by the fans from day one, so it was a battle for Dean and the team after a good start."

No Chris, it wasn't the fans' fault, you just hired a lousy manager and allowed him to blow the budget.

'Chesterfield is a great little club...'

Oh, thanks.

'Now, that same young player plays for Chesterfield - he's bad on Saturday. he's bad on Tuesday - the fans won't have him in the team next Saturday. They're booing him. We've seen it!'

Our fault again.

'But the problem becomes when the player knows what he's going to get paid at the next club and I don't know how you stop that, it happens everywhere.'

No it doesn't; some clubs insist players see out the contract they signed. But then some clubs don't have a CEO who's overseen a debt increase by millions meaning they have to sell.

Yes - that's a good summary of the points where I winced. Horrible to think that the collective wisdom "at the top" is that the fans simply cannot see the brilliance of their master plan and, frankly, should tolerate watching any old rubbish without a murmur. In my estimation there was a lot of patience with Saunders before it all boiled over.

Didn't he also say something like 'give 9 clubs Burtons budget next season and they'll all finish in the bottom 8'? Or did I imagine that? It was late last night mind.
Here we go again!

It's like someone's handed the club a pistol and they're repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot with it.

I wonder how many paying customers Turnipe will lose if he stays in the job much longer. Has the Chairman taken leave of his senses!!

Just a question, definitely not an accusation, but does the CEO gain any financial remuneration from transfer fees ?
