Ma Hubbards proposal was put to our represtentiives the CFSS which includes you on October 15th 2006 it is now November 12th 2006 when are you going to tell your menbers what has been proposed? Will it be this year? Or are you all clinging onto your egos until the very last minute? Just remember the longer you cling onto power the more the Club dies, does that not bother you?

who knows fish. clearly my £100 life membership counts for nothing at all. mind you, the baffoons are on a breather

clearly not. they think they are bigger than the club, and are happy to see it slowly sink to there own amatuer level.
A new hope.

I have been to a total of six meetings (including joint ones and exceptional ones) concerning this question. The CFSS Board has responded and (minor clarifications excepted) details should be posted, and an AGM called, in a couple of days.

As part of the discussions all parties pledged to keep details confidential until an announcement.

Nothing comes quick at this club does it? I mean 20 years for a ground and we ain't no closer now than then. As for Pete he tells us as much as the other winkers sweet FA! Don't forget that the fans and theirs money created the CFSS, pity the CFSS does not remember that fact

Fair play to Pete who at least makes some attempt to come on here and keep fans marginally informed, though we obviously don't know what agreements are reached in board meetings in relation to collective silence - even more so as they now seemed to have given up posting the minutes on the website - have we ever had an explanation for them not being posted since June (or is this part of the breather).

Cannot work out myself though why, if they have had the proposals since October 15, the ordinary membership (including me as a life member) have not been informed of there details. Surely it is up to us to make our own minds up on whether they are good for the club, and not as I suspect the CFSS board trying to negotiate as much power for themselves before we are presented almost with hobsons choice.

Ive always tried to be optimistic about the club and the efforts of CFSS, but this season, with the 'time for a breather' etc and complete lack of engagement with fans (other than Tooley's little gatherings in the board room that are never publicised) has brought me to the conclusion of many others that they have run their course and should now actively be looking to handover to other who can make a better fist of it.

There are two lots of ratified minutes that haven't been uploaded.

After that they get difficult as they mostly concern the future of the Club and contain quite a lot of free discussion and some commercially confidential information. There has also been a confidentiality agreement between the two Boards concerning some aspects of the discussions.

Since the joint Board Meeting on 19 October there has been one exceptional Board Meeting to further discuss the issues (and much talk informally) and a more conventional Board Meeting to set a proposal for the membership. This proposal set within the last week needed slight clarification before being published.

Pete,

How long will you give your membership to review the facts, figures and proposals before a vote takes place?

Who will prepare the prospectus for consideration by the membership and will it be a legally bound document?

Thanks for the dedication and patience shown despite the apparent rudeness from a number of contributors.
This really disguises a great desire for the project to succeed and so those people will, in the end, be gracious in their appreciation for a good outcome.

Not at all. It's a well-argued and valid point of view, unlike your own hysterical ramblings. I don't agree with it for several reasons, but at least the poster has a brain.

if spireite61 has a well argued & valid point of view but you dont agree with it why not put up your counter arguement rather than doing what you say you dont do: personnal abuse.

Pete, if its any comfort to you, I'm a season ticket holder, CFSS life member and a CFC shareholder and I fully understand the reasons why details of discussions, whether informal or not, cannot be released generally to the public regarding sensitive issues.

I've also been involved in several situations which have been subjected to "confidentiality agreements" and fully understand the implications of these.

It frustrates me that some on these boards virtually suggest that the Town Cryer should be invited to all meetings so that he can spout his interpretations afterwards in the market place.

Keep up the good work Pete.

I'm sure that when a the wording of a worthwhile statement has been agreed by all parties it will be issued in the correct manner.

Are we not a fan owned club? Or are we only fan owned when the club needs something from us? Most of the time we are given the mushroom treatment and its not just on sensitive information it seems its all details regarding the future of the club. I wouldnt have a problem with this secrecy if I trusted the people involved and thats why there is frustration on mine and others parts. We still dont know for sure if CFSS are entering these discussions with whats best for the club or whats best for CFSS keeping hold of the club and thats because they tell us knackers all including the inability to keep the minutes up to date.

As for Pete whilst I appreciate his awkward position the one sided nature of his posts and the occasional drip of biased information isnt sufficient for those who have reservations about CFSS. It comes to something when life members dont have a clue what the CFSS are up to or what their intentions are despite many questions being asked. Thats why people are peed off.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

The next thing the club needs from CFSS members is their opinion on the proposal(s).
I recognise that you do not trust CFSS, so the confidentiality discipline will surely feed your suspicion.Especially if questions in the sensitive category are repeatedly asked.
I am a life member and am prepared to wait for the information.

So are you actually saying that every member of the CFSS and every shareholder of CFC should sign up to the confidentiality agreement on top of which you can vouch that each and everyone of these can keep their mouths shut and not tell anyone whats going on?
