Not surprised by any of those, Boden was their top scorer.

They presumably didnt give Griffiths a chance at centre back.....

Lewis Montrose picked up Stockport County player of the Year award

I'd forgotten about him. He's wasted himself somehow to be there.

That's an interesting one- I read he had progressed and done quite well this season.
These go to eleven.

Apparently started as left back at the beginning of the season, but lost his place about half way through.

Quoting Gills fans on Onefootballforum:

"Brennan Dickenson - Really like him, most improved player this year - I'd offer him a new deal."

"Dickenson LWB Keep 2 year deal

I really rate Brennan. Still has a lot to learn in his new defensive role (having moved back from forward\winger). Athletic, tall, very fast and a rocket of a left foot. Has had some very good and very bad moments but left footed player always hard to find and he can still get a lot better."
These go to eleven.

After the rocket he scored against Bristol Rovers for us I was expecting decent things, but I was so disappointed after his home debut. Didn't look interested. No doubt he's improved a lot since.

I was just trying to find out where Brian Close was last heard of- turns out it was Sunderland RCA in the Northern League, the current home of Colin Larkin:

Surprising to see Cliff Byrne at that level aged only 34 (I'm not suggesting we sign him).
These go to eleven.

Good website that. Love the write-up of the last game of the season away at Penrith with no keeper and several walking wounded. See the images of Colin Larkin playing 90 minutes in goal in a 2-0 win here!

...on loan from Wrexham, having sunk as far as Rushall Olympic in the Evo-Stik, in his mid-twenties. Gets around a bit.
These go to eleven.

Great signing for them. He was an in form player for them when he signed on loan. I think he will be outstanding in League 2

Gutted. I know he was never realistically going to be with us next season, but still.

Lee Novak was the type of player and character that I think could have commanded a similar status to that of Jack Lester, given time at the club.

A fabulous player, a proper pro and a fans favourite.
