I know everyone is hacked off but surely starving the club of funds as a form of complaint is the last thing we need. Dave Allen is Dave Allen. Danny Wilson is making the right noises about next season. You won't change anything by aggressive fund withholding. Let's take a moment to reconsider. After all, what would we have to moan about if we didn't have a football club!

Went to renew mine and my son's (under suffrence) yestday after work and was surprised to see a steady stream of folk doing the same. ...and the lady taking my payment said sales were going well so yeah they may be down on this season but maybe not by as much as we might have thought.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

most regular season ticket holders will renew no matter what league we are in. it doesn't matter. most of those on here that say they wont will probably be down there by Friday renewing. the others, who aren't regular season ticket holders but regular moaners of course wont. but that's no surprise is it.

We have ours. League two doesn't appeal and the club's underhand approach to the early bird deal is despicable. However, I would rather watch chesterfield than not. And if I can save over £100 in the process then I will do. I'm not cutting my nose off to spite my face.

Clearly not read the numerous posts of long term season ticket holders jacking it in then. If we are losing fans like these then what chance of we got of keeping the newly acquired ones. Head. In. Sand.

I'm not saying the time is to be either complacent or that everything is all perfect at CFC but season ticket holders number c.4500? Regular posters on here amount to a small percentage I believe and of those a few are not renewing. My guess would be season tickets will amount to 4250 for next year.

I do think it is worryingly cynical move re EB offers though and have tweeted CFC, Bangers etc to ask if they would re-consider....no reply.

They could be just buying tickets for Saturday.

With the "50% off" offer in the club shop, people might well kill two birds with one stone tomorrow.

In foyer Simon filling in forms, there was a couple outside at window for Saturday or Bradford, guess before kick off there will be a long queue.....

went in yesterday afto and was surprised to see 7 or 8 others ahead of me - all with multiple renewals. Lady on the desk told me it had been the same all day - she had not even managed to get away for a lunch break so perhaps the drop off will not be as great as some seem to want to see.

Or is it just the case we are 48 hours ahead of the early bird cutoff which is 3 weeks earlier than last year, so sales are just a bit compressed?

I think that's the most likely reason, renewed mine at lunch time, probably another half dozen or so down there doing the same

Just renewed my Kop ST. Woman who did it over the phone jokingly said after I paid "You're with us for another season now, whether you like it or not". Pretty much sums up my feelings at the moment.

Game of Russian Roulette. Win a few games and and everything will be forgotten. Lose a few games and and everyhtng will be back to doom and gloom. A risk that most season ticket holders will take.

But win a few games at the start of next season, regardless of division, and everything will be forgotten again. Maybe.

I went down for bury tickets for me and my eldest lad today, rang the bell and about a minute later a lad popped his head round the corner and said 'someone will be out in a minute'. After 5 minutes of waiting for someone to come out I gave up and left. Must have everyone on season ticket duty. What a stupid idea it was to bring the EB cut off date to before the last home match.

They are trying to encourage people to renew online but they add that annoying surcharge.

I also can't see how you get the 5% discount online for being a member of the Lotto
