I note the wording about no plans to renew the Royal Pearl sponsorship is new
Two other players joined us after Wong from Giss (the italian academy Bingham is part of) and didn't Sutcliffe claim in a recent match programme that we'd got a high number (can't remember how many off the top of my head) new international recruits, plenty of funding then to repay the parents....

Johnathon Alcorace & Armando Guarnera both also signed from Genova International according to GISS facebook site.
Coincidentally they are both friends of DB on facebook.

that's them, couldn't remember the names, perplexed about how they've managed the apparent new intake of 18 new recuits from 11 different countries, all too soon to be a response from the World Soccer magazine ad

The key question posed right at the beginning of all this still remains: are Chesterfield FC subsidising Turner and Sutcliffe's heavy loss making enterprise? And if not, who is?
Why has the DT spoken to a CFC 'Spokesman' at all?
Why does the spokesman say that PPP can reduce the costs of running the Academy?
Why does the spokesman deny that PPP is underpinned by CFC but LM doesn't mention it?
Why has the DT issued a web article but not a printed one? It's a stitch up, compromise, article designed to appease readers and to prevent DA getting wind.
Perhaps the overseas tour costs are irrecoverable up front cancellation deposits to Travel Agencies. A reputable company would have insurance cover.

I think we need to wait to see if it appears in next weeks print edition before drawing conclusions. I think the point was to present the clubs view of the facts and questions will follow after readers comments have been received

I think the DT is being pressurised, so I don't blame Graham.
Anyway, readers' comments are already being received so he's got plenty to get his teeth into.

The programme one ? very much appears that way, if 18 new international recruits had arrived why no mention of the PPP website, photos etc, quite a fuss was made when the first one Wong arrived, yet 18 in a short period of time from 11 different nations doesn't get a mention, I suppose they don't want to make other clubs even more envious....

No wonder Mitch resigned, Liam Sutcliffe had his job. Never mind, Danny says Mitch will be easily replaced.

Ok, here's a reader's comments that could be followed up.
Barrie Hubbard said at a fairly recent AGM that the youth set up cost net about £30k a year. Several years ago we sold a 14 year old to Everton for a fortune. We also made hundreds of thousands from the sale of 2 youth products, Darikwa and Bowery.
The DT should ask how the net £1m expenditure figure over 10 years was derived.
The DT should ask how PPP intends to reduce the costs of the youth set up.
The DT should ask the spokesman whether he made a mistake saying that LS had never been paid by CFC.
The DT should ask CFC for permission to ask Shorts whether PPP is or has been a creditor and let us know what their response is.

The thing that interests me is that how LS seems now to be the main talking point and CTs name seems to have taken a backward step.
